Review of Eagle Bar Diner

Eagle Bar Diner
This is not your average wannabe upmarket burger joint. The staff are friendly and attentive yet genuine and not over bearing. The food is great (and I say that as a vegetarian with admittedly limited choice). It’s a great place for lunch, and with a wide range of cocktails the perfect place to start a night out.

Review of Match Bar

If you like table service
I regularly visit Match, and find it a great option for business meetings and after work drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff are friendly and best of all there is table service. The food is pretty good too. Only negative is they do not serve draught beers.

Review of Guffa

Not Bad
I've eaten at this restaurant several times, and never had a bad meal. At the same time, I have never had an exceptionally great meal either. Prices are average for Islington.

Much easier that doing it yourself
First time I have ever used a removals company, and I must admit, I had some reservations having heard some horror stories from friends.
However, from start to finish I could not fault the service. They turned up on time, got the job done quickly and were friendly throughout. For 4 hours work (which included a 1 hr drive) the cost was just under £250.
Very proffessional service, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Review of Smiths Of Smithfield

Excellent!
At first glance, Smiths is a cool and lively bar with loads of space and industrial style decor. However, there are also 3 different restaurants located on the 3 floors above the main bar area - serving a variety of food at different prices. Recently I went for diner with a client on the top floor restaurant (which is supposed to be the best). As it was a very warm evening we were seated at one of the outside tables and could enjoy an excellent view over the city. OK, the food and wine was not cheap, but if you are going to treat yourself I would recommend this over some of the "trendier" london restaurants. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. The restuarants on floors 1 and 2 seem very reasonibly priced, and downstairs they do a range of breakfasts for as little £2.

Review of Malmaison London
01 May 07, 23:02
Not as good as Birmingham or Newcastle
Malmaison is undoubtfully my favourite chain of hotels in the UK, however I was slightly dissapointed after recently staying in their London hotel.
It was more expensive, and overall didnt seem to have quite the same character and atmosphere as the other Malmaison hotels I have visited.
Saying that it is still the best hotel I've stayed at in London and the location is great.
