Review of Matfen Hall

Marriages and Golf
I'm probably biased, as I got married here, but Matfen Hall is a wonderful hotel. The rooms are spacious and well furnished, with all the comforts you need. The hotel is also equipped with a top notch golf course and a supurb (AA rosette) restuarant. Not cheap, with rooms starting at £110 per night, but well worth the expense.

Best Curry Ever!
No exaggeration, this is without doubt the best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Amazing food and friendly staff. Be warned though, dishes tend to be spicier than there equivalents in other Indian restaurants.

Much easier that doing it yourself
First time I have ever used a removals company, and I must admit, I had some reservations having heard some horror stories from friends.
However, from start to finish I could not fault the service. They turned up on time, got the job done quickly and were friendly throughout. For 4 hours work (which included a 1 hr drive) the cost was just under £250.
Very proffessional service, and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.

Review of Smiths Of Smithfield

Excellent!
At first glance, Smiths is a cool and lively bar with loads of space and industrial style decor. However, there are also 3 different restaurants located on the 3 floors above the main bar area - serving a variety of food at different prices. Recently I went for diner with a client on the top floor restaurant (which is supposed to be the best). As it was a very warm evening we were seated at one of the outside tables and could enjoy an excellent view over the city. OK, the food and wine was not cheap, but if you are going to treat yourself I would recommend this over some of the "trendier" london restaurants. The food was delicious and the service was faultless. The restuarants on floors 1 and 2 seem very reasonibly priced, and downstairs they do a range of breakfasts for as little £2.
