Review of James Brindley

James Brindley
A great location and fair sized pub with food being served. The decor could do with spruce up from last time I was there but the outside terrace and great view of the canal does make up for this and the drinks are fairly priced.

Review of Wetherspoons
12 Apr 08, 14:22
Wetherspoons, Paradise Forum
A fairly small but recently refurbished Wetherspoons set in the ever changing Paradise Forum. Child friendly in the daytimes but busy in the early evenings and weekends. Food is reasonably priced and you can get your fix of news from Sky whilst you wait. You do feel a little like you are being watched though as passers by continue to walk through the complex.

Review of Harvey Nichols

Harvey Nicholls, The Mailbox
This is a good store for the latest and most expensive fashions but the prices may be a lot out of people's ranges. If you want to treat yourself or a looking for a stylish expensive present then this could be a place to come but for your average person it may be wiser to investigate some of the other stores in Birmingham.

Review of 3 Store
12 Apr 08, 09:50
3 Store, Mailbox
The first 3 Store in Birmingham and right in the fashionable shopping and restaurant complex that is the Mailbox. All the usual handsets and offers from 3 are here with a good knowledgeable staff so if you are heading to the Mailbox and are after a new 3 phone then it's somewhere you should check out whilst you're there.

Review of Rackhams, House Of Fraser (stores)
12 Apr 08, 09:38
House of Fraser
Formerley Rackhams, this has been a popular department store in Birmingham for decades and has a good choice of clothing, accesories and electricals. It's probably not as great a shopping experience as the newer Selfridges but with wide selections and sales you may find a bargain in here so worth shopping around too but be sure not to forget this well respected departement store.

Review of Bar Room Bar
12 Apr 08, 07:21
Bar Room Bar Birmingham
Recently refurbished this is a very modern, great looking bar and restaurant ideal for couples in the early evening and as a trendy hang out at night. On Fridays and Saturdays you can expect classy DJs with great tunes and this place does get quite busy with its reputation as a cool place to go.

Review of Bar Epernay

Bar Epernay Birmingham
This is a very classy, superb restaurant and bar in the Mailbox. Expect fairly high prices but for your money you do get great surrondings and you may even see the pianist on the slow revolving platform as you eat or drink with friends.

Review of McDonald's Restaurant
11 Apr 08, 19:53
Mc Donalds Paradise Forum
There are quite a few Mc Donalds within each reach in the city but with the loss of the Broad Street branch this is a welcome stop off if you are near the entertainment quarter. All the usual menu items and a recently refurbished seating area overlooking Victoria Square.

Review of Athens Greek Restaurant
11 Apr 08, 19:48
Athens Greek Restaurant
If you've ever fancied an authentic Greek meal in Birmingham City Centre, with all the trimmings including dancing and smashing plates then this is the place for you. A real treat and an unfortgettable night out for friends, family or an office night out.

Review of Pennyblacks

PennyBlacks
Good selection of food. Wide choice of beers and located in a nice surronding overlooking the canal by the Mailbox. A good place to star spot as it's right next to the BBC. A good place for a few friends or quiet place to have a meal in nice surrondings.

Review of Snobs
11 Apr 08, 16:04
Great for Students and Indie Lovers
Located in the Heart of Birmingham within walking distance of Broad Street and The Mailbox, Snobs is a great place for Students and Rock/Indie Music Lovers. There are two rooms with rock anthems in the main room and more soul and older anthems in the smaller room. Cheap £1 bottle promotions and Wednesdays is a great night for a midweek night out.
