D&A Hagley Road 
Good customer care, wide selection of glasses and first rate check up service. The after care is also superb and although slightly out of the way of the city centre it beats the usual busy opticians for service.

TGI's Birmingham
Good for drinks and a party but if you're not a fan of the whole "Birthday" singing that seems to happen regularly or over zealous staff than maybe not for you. They are however quite helpful and pleasant so all in all a good night but probably more for an occasion than a regular meal.

Spearmint Rhino Hagley Road 
If you're having a stag night, or just a boys' night out this is one of the best strip clubs in brum. Open till late and with fairly reasonable drinks prices.
