slug speed service... 
this place is ok. the food is ok. the people were nice looking. but the service was sooooo slow. I mean all i wanted was a coke - A COKE! it shouldn't have taken 10 minutes. Also the reggae-reggae sauce (as seen on dragon's den) was ultimately disappointing

Review of Miss Millies Fried Chicken

FILTH!
I've only ever eaten Miss Millies from this establishment (when ratted) and I'm afriad the chicken skin is usually damp, sliding off the flesh/bone and the supporting chips are usually cold. ERGH! However when you have the beer hungers, you've got to eat - hence why i couldn't give it 1 star as it serves a purpose. Dirty.

So close, but yet...
Now i might be going against the grain with this, but personally I'm not won over by this joint. It just doesn't add up to the sum of it's parts. The beer is good, the food is good (if not a little pricey) and the atmos is alright - But at the end of the day it lacks 'real' atmosphere. Credit has to be given to the proprieters for doing their bit in turning 'round the former cumberland and i know for a fact that the people who live nearby rate the star and dove...I guess it's just a case of me prefering to sip my Gem away from the yummy mummy crowd.

It's a supermarket, but not as you know it
Asdal in bemmy is fine. It's just the customers that need working on! Empty McDonalds cartons left on the shelves, really FAT people blocking the aisles and travellers setting up in the car park for a week long stay. I once saw Ian Wright filming a telly commercial in there....I doubt he stayed too long once the cameras stopped rolling!

bendy straw sir?
So here's the thing - The people working at Mazati are lovely. Really lovely. But unless you're a cannibal you're not there for the people...and that's where Mazati goes a little iffy. You see the food wasn't great, we could have watched an episode of panorama between courses and a single malt whisky came with a bendy straw in it. The decor/surroundings are lovely but that and the friendly staff can't cover up the quality of the food itself....I want to give the Mazati another go but I just can't stomach it. Sorry.

Do you want Mayo with that?
Avoid like the plague. This place is possibly the worst sandwich shop EVER! That said however, the coronation chicken just about passes (if one imagines that it IS actually chicken) and the BLT's alright if you're in a hurry/really desperate. Please be aware that smiling in the sandwich box is banned.
