Review of Museum Of London

Nice day out with the kids
You need to take your time in this Museum, there's soo many nooks and cranies - you can easily miss the really interesting bits.
A great family day out, no sence of urgency in this place.
Very relaxing for all!

Review of Nandos Chickenland
25 Apr 08, 14:58
chick chick chicken
I think Nandos is perhaps one of the biggest and best know chain of restaurants in the UK today. Nandos in Middlesbrough must have been open for about 4 year now. It is quite east to find as it sits on a main road, I go to the JJb gym next door so it is really tempting to nip in on the way home for a takeaway. Each time I have eaten at Nandos it has been an enjoyable experience. The staff are polite and friendly and always keen to suit you, the restaurant itself has one wall which consists of just huge windows and you can feel a little self conscious if you are seated there because everyone walks past and stares at you eating. It is quite a big complex so you and easily ask for a seat at the back. The only down side I found with Nandos was the price, it is surprisingly expensive so I tend to make this restaurant only on special occasions.

Review of The Ivy
25 Apr 08, 14:58
Good grub
The Ivy is renowned for its simple well cooked British classics. I tucked into sausage and mash, a dish cooked with flair and care. The food is so good that I almost didn’t notice that sitting across from me sat a famous director, television presenter and celebrated actor who were discussing the outrageous antics of a well known politician and his famous wife. I innocently called the waiter over and ordered dessert - a simple but delicious Spotted Dick.

Review of Masala Zone
25 Apr 08, 14:56
Nice Ol' Gaff
Masala Zone is built in a split level kind of way and has a lot of room - but it is so popular, you may have to wait a few minutes before you get a table, especially if you visit on Friday or Saturday night. I don't think it is possible to book ahead. The decor is nice and uncluttered with none of the kitsch that afflicts most Indian restaurants. The kitchen is located behind a glass panel and you can watch the chefs put your food together from the dining room. The service is polite and friendly and very quick

Review of Isaac Wilson
25 Apr 08, 14:53
The wilsons!
The Isaac Wilson is a traditional Weatherspoon put, very unlike the more modem chain Lloyds. This pub is located near the train station in Middlesbrough as very accessible. One of the selling points for the Isaac Wilson’s is the menu, like most Weatherspoons they offer a great range of buy one get one free on the menu, This particular establishment is quite bit and set up like any other Weatherspoons, dark wooden chairs and tables with a lack of frills. I love eating here but it become very apparent that the same people sit in the same seats day after day, without being ageist it tends to be old men congregating and spending the afternoon drinking. Perhaps the biggest downfall of the Isaac Wilson’s in my opinions is the fact that they don’t play any music. Not really sort of pub but great if you want cheap food

Review of Chinese Contemporary

mmm... tasty
Reema is the best Indian restaurant in Darlington, and probably the best I have ever eaten in. It offers an excellent choice of foods and is ideal for small and large parties alike. It is not overly priced as the food is always really tasty and freshly prepared.
The service is also excellent and the staff go out of their way to please you. The decor of the restaurant is stylish and modern.

Review of Reading Station
25 Apr 08, 11:13
Nice trains
A nice train station packed with the usual facilities. Very modern quick pay ticket stations. Avoid this place at night , there's usually a gang of youths hanging about so make sure you've organised in advance for a ride home.
Close taxi rank and bus stop are withing a 1 minute walking distance.

Review of Dogma
23 Apr 08, 12:26
Nice Modern Bar
The music in Dogma can be quite diverse at times but you can always garantee a few comercial songs by the time the night's out.
Nice area downstairs for drinking while the upstairs is a full blown stomp.
Check it out, it's one of the better places in Reading.

Review of Revolution Bar
23 Apr 08, 12:20
A nice little bar , something for everyone
Revs is a young bar, packed on the weekends full with glammed up ladies. The music is usually banging but very commercial weather it's dance or R n B.
You shouldd make sure you're there early to avoid the 1 in one out polocy that kicks in at between 11 and 12.
All in all a top evening with a very modern feel.
