Review of Twickenham Tandoori

Tasty authentic Indian in Twickenham
Tucked away on Church Street - this is my Dad's favourite curry house. It looks rather dingy with the leather benches and booths but the food is really tasty. I always go for the 'non spicy' options and they are delicious.. Creamy masala, kormas and mouthwatering vegetarian dishes go down a treat.
The atmosphere is intimate and the papadoms are fresh and so moreish that it's hard to resist not just eating them!
My Dad says the lamb special is a winner - it comes out on a sizzling hot plate and looks very good.
Not expensive, good value for money and one of the best indians in Twickenham.

Review of San Carlo
21 May 08, 19:31
Authentic Italian in Bristol
Walkig into San Carlo is a bit like stepping into the 80's.. Don't let the mirrored walls and white plastic chairs put you off as the food is to literally die for...
We hate a mix of starters and then I had fresh fish and vegetables. It was absolutely delicious and so fresh and tasty. The waiter helped me decide which fish to choose and it was definitely the right choice!
The quirkiness of the restaurant is appealing - photos of celebrities who've frequented the restaurant don the walls. You can also see the chefs at work through the glass wall preparing the dishes.
Fun, bustling and tasty - it was packed despite it being a week night.

Review of Strada
21 May 08, 13:28
Fantastic pizza and pasta!
Strada may be a chain but the food is so delicious it could be taken for an authentic Italian restaurant.
I have been to many of their restaurants but the one in Richmond is especially lovely. The service is great and I have had many a good night feasting on the penne with roasted vegetables and morzarella and drinking Rioja!
The goatschees pizza is another winner. Don't even think about not ordering the pesto / tomato garlic bread - it really is to die for.
Reasonably priced and fun atmosphere.

Review of Handmade Burger Co.

Tomato chutney and burgers to die for
This is the best burger joint in Birmingham. If you're as obsessed with burgers as I am - THEN GET DOWN TO THE HANDMADE BURGER CO!!
The tomato relish is to die for - you can even buy it on site. The chips are homemade and so tasty and the burgers are so big you have to cut them up!
My only disgruntle is that the banana milkshake should be made with real bananas! Then the place would be perfect!!

Review of Fairuz

Delicious Lebanese!
Fairuz is a hidden gem tucked away in Marlebone.
It is a fantastic restaurant to go on a date or with your family / a big group. The decor's lovely and rustic and the staff are very accomodating.
I highly recommend the meze - so you can try a selection of dishes and tantalise your tastebuds on the different delacies.
The freshly baked lebanese flatbread is so more-ish and the baclava and mint tea go down a treat at the end of the meal.
Rather pricey (£30-40 per person) but worth it - especially if it's for a special occasion.

Review of Kam Tong
21 May 08, 13:07
Best Chinese in London!
My parents have been going to the Kam Tong for 30 years and I have grown up on the dishes at the Kam Tong.
Fresh, tasty and full of variety - the Kam Tong is always busy and you often have to queue out the door for a table.
It's no oil painting inside - but for a good (reasonably priced) chinese it's the place to go.
I highly recommend their beansprout noodles, duck pancakes and their speciality capital spare ribs!

Review of Popping Cork
19 May 08, 10:10
Off Licence / Newsagent
The Popping Cork always seems to be open when I need a pint of milk for the morning or a chocolate fix.
The staff are very friendly and personable and it's a regular haunt for people in Earlsdon to get a bottle of vino or to pick up the papers.

Review of The Aardvark

Nice lunch
The Aarvark is great for lunch and quite cheap - though sometimes the service can be a little slow at times so not great if you're in a rush.

Review of Kendall's Of Earlsdon

Great Sandwiches!
Kendall's is a lovely deli in Earlsdon. It has so many speciality products - from pasta to olives to biscuits.
Kendall's has a great lunch menu with baguettes, soups and quiches.
The sandwiches are great - a wonderful choice of cheeses, meats and salads.
The only downside is there is nowhere insided to sit and eat. They have tables outside but eating there is weather permitting!!

Great Hairdresser!!
The staff are so friendly and kind at Cabellos.
Tea and magazines are on hand to make it a relaxing and fun experience.
The staff are so lovely and spend time discussing with you what the best style is for your hair type and face shape.
I highly recommend this salon!
