Review of Imperial Teas Of Lincoln

Love it!
I can't rate this place highly enough!
It really is wonderful. The have a huge, and I mean huge range of teas and coffee's for sale. Including some very rare and expensive blends.
The people who run it are lovely, really friendly and very knowledgeable.
I have been visiting Imperial Teas since I was a student and I make sure I pay it a visit every time I return to the city.

Review of Topshop

Topshop
The flag ship store on Oxford street is a sight to see.
If you can't get it here then you can't get it! It has everything from its own range, to those designed by Kate Moss along with many other independent designers.
It also features a great shoe department, vintage section and a vast array of handbags to suit all budgets.
Before you start your shop hit the pick and mix counter or cafe to give yourself that much needed energy.

Review of Harrods

Anything and everything!
I love Harrods. You can spend hours wandering around this huge department store, just make sure you have your credit card to hand.
My favourite areas have to be the food shop and the chocolate cafe which is not to be missed.
If you can afford to shop here, great! If not you can pick up some lovely gifts and join the tourists window shopping.

Review of Magpie Cafe

Famous Fish and Chips
Don't be put off by the long queue, it's worth it. Dont worry about the rain, they will lend you an umberella!
This restaurant really does offer the best of british and the portions are generous.
Despite the queue outside you dont feel pressured to order quickly or rushed to eat your food and pay the bill.
The awards this place has won really are justified.

Review of Kitchen Garden Cafe

Wow!
Fresh organic food at its best.
You quite honestly feel a million miles away from Birmingham tucked away in this little cafe.
I had a wonderful fully cooked breakfast with the most beautiful eggs i'm sure i've tasted. The food was obviously very fresh and of high quality.
A good way of being naughty!
Go on a saturday/sunday morning, take a book or newspaper and relax. Bliss!

Review of Jim Garrahy's Fudge Kitchen
22 Apr 08, 17:06
Yum Yum Yum!
This has to be the best fudge I have ever tasted. Beautifully creamy it melts in the mouth.
Expensive as you need to buy it by the slice but worth it.
They do advise that it is possible to freeze the slices...if you can make it last that long!

Review of Apollo Auto Centre
22 Apr 08, 16:29
Female friendly with fair prices
I am one of those girls who knows very little about cars so when I needed repairs I asked around for recommendations.
A friend of the family pointed me in the direction of Apollo.
From the first phone call, to having my car fixed while I waited, they were friendly, polite and professional.
And didn't try to tell me there were 6 other things wrong with my car!!!

Review of Selfridges
21 Apr 08, 17:10
Sensory overload!
Whenever I want to show a visiting friend something really great about birmingham I always take them to Selfridges in the Bullring.
The ground floor food hall and shop really has to be seen to be believed and offers everything from a champagne bar to Sushi and even a Crispy Creme cafe. Amazing. The sights, sounds and smells are wonderful.
Also downstairs you will find a huge range of imported food products so if Hersheys chocolate is your idea of a treat, this is the place to find it.

Review of Radisson Sas Hotel

One day.......
I will live in the penthouse suite at the Radisson!
But until then I am more than happy checking into one of their lovely standard rooms.
The decor is lovely and with floor to ceiling window the views are great.
Its wonderfully located near to New Street Station, the bullring shopping centre and various theatres, and even has its own fine Italian restaurant.
Most reccomended!

Need to escape?
Every girl needs a treat every now and then and for me its a massage at body and being......Heaven!
Expect friendly service and a relaxing treatment.
Body and being also has monthly offers with discounts on certain treatments.
I can also recommend the Yoga classes which leave you feeling wonderful. (But be sure to book in advance).

Review of Wagamama
17 Apr 08, 16:15
High Quality Fast Food
Need a quick dinner or just something hot and healthy to give you the strength to carry on shopping ....head to Wagamama's!
Its fast, friendly and informal. Food is bought to you as soon as its cooked rather than sitting under a hot plate for 10 minutes. This does mean your food wont always arrive the same time as your friends but as long as you know this before you go the best thing to do is tuck in!
If the menu makes your head spin on your first visit try the chicken ramen. Nothing too spicy but the flavour is fantastic.
