Review of U C I

Tamworth Odeon
Formally U.C.I.
Very much an 'as expected' cinema.
Nothing special about this price. Since being taken over they have had some newer seats fitted but if you want the 10 inches more leg room then expect to pay for it.
My advice is to take a drive and go elsewhere.

Review of Showcase Cinema

The Showcase
..They show films. Which is in essence is what you need from a cinema. They also sell the usual array of popcorn, sweets and drinks.
However the place seems in need of a refit with old creaky chairs and I am not sure if it is just me, but I find i need to sit my coat!
Overall as an experience it lacks some of the sparkle of its newer competitors.
As Expected!

Review of Electric Cinema

Part of Birmingham's History
A truly wonderful cinema not to be missed.
The films they show are a mix of mainstream and independent films as well as few classics.
If you have the cash get a sofa seat for £12. This gives you a lovely comfy seat and the text waitress service option.
They have a good bar if you fancy a beer, glass of wine while you relax infront of the film.
Or you can even get a nice cup of a tea and a slice of cake...heaven!

Review of Vue Cinemas

One of the better Cinemas
A good out of town cinema that offers free parking within the Star City complex.
Comfy seats and plenty of leg room.
However, go early as the queue for tickets (often sold and the food counters) can take an age!
