Times Past 
One of those shops that takes you back years. On the Ground Floor are a range of food departments, Cakes, general groceries and a small deli. Upstairs you can find all those odd presents for family and friends and has a good range of items connected with Somerset to send kids off on exchange visits with.

Great Pub
Good Pub cosy and welcoming. Food is good too and since the smoking ban definately one of our favourites. Food portions are large and the carvery on Sundays was good value last time we visited. There are some good walks in the Blackdown Hills nearby with a stop here to recover

Great Meal
Last dashed in to here with a hour before a concert and the staff were wonderful. We made it in time without feeling rushed. Good Value, well cooked meal. My daughter has sinced visited on several occasions with her Uni friends and says it is always good and now a favourite haunt for a meal.

Best family Holiday
Been on sailing holidays with the Flotillas for years now and even though we have bareboated in the Ionian and own a boat in the UK , the kids prefer the flotillas. They are well organised - good basic set up boats, good information, great lead crews. Great sailing areas and as much or little help as you need. Much more relaxed than other simular companies and you aren't treated like a moron if you get it wrong! - I would recommend and you won't have to sign up of hugely expensive training courses before they let you out.

Great Day out
This is an annual outing for us - pick up a canoes and make you way down the Exeter Canal - Don't be deceived - you seem to get to the first pub fairly quickly where you have to get the canoes out and walk them around the locks. It is then a long haul down to the Turf Inn for a swift half beofre the return - It is a long way and if sunny don't forget the sun block!

Good Fun
One of the hang outs for the Leicester Uni Students - drinks were cheap and huge dance floor. Recommended by my daughter - it is a favourite and always a good night out

Took cover here when the weather closed in to dry our socks and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon here - Great lunch - Fish and Chips were great and lovely open fire. Great view and sand to play on

Lovely old pub
Roaring fire when we were there in February on a horrible rain swept day. Just what we needed after a 4 mile bracing walk over from Golant. Right in the middle of Fowey

Great Pick Your Own
Make sure you pass this place when the first aspagus is out - if the kiosk is open and pick some up to cook. Later in the season great afternoon out - subject to the weather of course stocking up the freezer with Strawberries and raspberries etc

Good Farm shop stocking all sort of things. Not far from Taunton. housed in some beautifully resorted farm buildings, good selection of produce and some frozen fruit etc to put in the freezer for some cheats cooking

Great authentic food, in a great location just by the Westgate and the River - Too much nice food to mention but Chikcen Fajitas are memorable. It can be very busy and with two sittings so if you don't want to be rushed go for the later one

Always fresh and innovative. When I give flowers from Eden they are always commented upon, how different, stunning, what are those called! Service is always good and the staff will suggest suitable displays when i am as a loss
