Liberating!
Ann Summers is great! Who doesn't love this place...its just totally liberating.
I wish I could buy everything in the shop...and I mean EVERYTHING! Ok well not quite, but the undies are really pretty and its lots of fun to look around! If you are going on a hen night and want lots of tack then this is the place to go!

Review of USC
30 May 08, 14:42
Good sale
I don't really like this shop any more...used to, now I'm over it.
I'm not a fan of brands, I just buy what I like...whether it has a brand name on isn't important. So USC isn't my fav shop, as its all about wearing the right name.
However the sales are great!

Review of Yatess Wine Lodge

Hole!
I’m not really a fan of Yates, by day it’s ok although does tend to attract stag parties and groups of men visiting London. It’s also really dark in most of the pub, but ok if you sit at the front. The food isn’t great, but it’s cheap and when you do complain they are quick to replace your meal. Service is fairly slow, so if you are popping in at lunch make sure you ask how fast the kitchen is going. By night it is a bit of a tourist haven and there are a few odd bods in there…I don’t really like it as there are often men alone, which I find weird and a bit pervy. When it’s my choice I never suggest going here... there are so many good bars in the area there is just no point!

Review of Zara
30 May 08, 14:35
Loves it!
Zara is great, all the shops seem to be identical and just vary in shape.
This Zara is actually quite big, although it is well set out so you don't feel like you are standing in a mass of clothes and can look properly.
I love the way it is separated into colours and styles and there are shoes here and there just to tempt! It is very difficult not to buy something...its all so pretty!

Review of Lillywhites

Jumble sale!
This shop is good at two things; firstly for selling cheap sports stuff, if you don't want to spend a fortune or do not feel compelled to spend loads on trainers you are only going to wear once a week at the gym then this is the place to come. secondly they are good at turning the shop into a total jumble sale....
Most the stock is on the floor in a heap...its boiling hot and messy...
But if you don't mind wading through the mess then that's ok!

Review of Millie's Cookies
30 May 08, 14:19
Tastey!
I am a big biscuit fan or cookie as they are commonly known in the US. A trip to Brommers just isn't complete with out a trip to Millies Cookies... Its a nice little sugar hit for giving me more energy to get on with the ever so important task of shopping!
I just wish there wasn't a queue all the time!

Review of Boots The Chemists
30 May 08, 14:15
Big Boots
This Boots is by far the largest I've seen in a long while... The good thing is that it has everything you need and always have the stock.
There are quite a few different departments in there so its great if you want to get a load of stuff done in one hit chemist/photos/make up/presents etc.
I do love the makeup...you're life just isn't complete until you have visited the Dior counter!

Review of H & M
30 May 08, 14:13
Nice and new.
Don't go to this shop as its closed...however if you nip downstairs in The Glades then you will find the brand spankin' new H&M or Hennies for those of us that are just a little bit old skool.
The new H&M is tres amazing, 2 floors packed full of the finest H&M clothes you could ever imagine.
I always find something I want in here and recommend you give it a try...plus its right by Mango which is also lovely.
I also love the fact there are 2 doors...one to The Glades the other to the high street...hmmm which should you choose?

Review of French Connection
30 May 08, 14:09
Not much french
This shop is everything you would expect from a French Connection....it has all the usual stuff and is well set out for a quick browse... If you are in a rush you can zoom in wiz round and scan for a little something nice.
I always come here if I'm looking for something to wear on a night out or just fancy treating myself.
I did nearly die on the slopey floor though - I jest of course!
