Review of Buffalo Bars

Manners Maketh the Mojito
I've been to the Buffalo Bar several times. It's a small, underground Indie place that has saved me from many an early night. Depending on when you go you can expect a quirky DJ, who will inevitably play something by the Smiths, or, a cooler then cool band, who will inevitably shout a lot. All good fun. Dress code is anything from baggy jeans to kitten heals - it doesn't matter as long as you're prepared to get a little sweaty. The only real downside I've found is the staff. The past few times I've been they've been less than friendly and, on the last occasion, positively rude. To the point where I felt bad for recommending it to my friends. We paid £6 to get in, took ages to be served by a bar tender who point blank refused to answer my friend when asked 3 times if they took cards, then got sworn at by the bully of a bouncer for being in his way. Had we not have been entirely sober we might have ignored it but instead we left after the first drink. Shame really - it's the only place I ever allow myself to admit that I secretly quite like Morrissey.
