Its nice in here but as its quite compact i dont think it has that much to offer unless you can enjoy the weather an sit outside. Its certainly friendly enough and has a good atmosphere.

Bigwigs 
I quite like Bigwigs its busy without being all pushy shovey and decently spaced out tables. Its not really a romantic date night, but they do great sharing starters and the main menu has a lot on offer. The service is speedy and pleasant.

If you can manage to get a chair and table, bag it and dont leave. I find the music area a tad too loud although people watching and them dancing if you are sober is always funny. Its nice when the suns out so you can enjoy a glass of wine outside. Attract a lot of younger folk at night time on weekends.

Certainly packs a few in here, its over a couple of floors so you can 'lap' round if you want to do some people watching, or meat market mingling. Its friendly and up beat in here and usually busy on key nights.

Probably because of its location its mainly a student hang out really. The very young frequent this place and I feel way to old over 30 to be venturing anywher near here. The only time ive succumbed is to watch the football and the rounds arent expensive either.

The life Dance-Bar is not a bad night out, its now modern and clean inside and plays old school music alot, which is great for a drunken boogie. Its one of the few places thats better mid week than at the weekends.

Its certainly different in here and has some amazing interior. They are known for their live music and more relaxed atmosphere. Its not a hard core music venue and differnt types of music are on different nights, so check the board.

Argh put your best rags on here for a top night out, its one of the best places to come if you like to dance to different types of music, theres about 4 floors to choose from and music themes and its really buzzing in here on saturday nights, people tend to come in late and stay late.

Fat Cat is a real towny pub slash bar, with modern comfy decor and leather sofas. It great in the day for coffee and lunch and by the evening its got a great amosphere with people just wanting a good time. This is an all nighter in here especially if you want more social than thumping.

Its ok but thats it, they play a decent selection of music which is good, but the actual place isnt really my kind of thing. There are alot of young people in here and its known for being a bit of a meat market. You would need to be heavily drunk to stay in here very long. The best room in here is the one with the stairs, leading out onto the street.

This is just off the main road (Broad St) we only came in here because we were meeting someone next door in the hotel, its mainly locals or residents, but a cute little bar with lovely personal service. You wouldnt feel out of place drinking alone here whilst you waiting for someone.

We come here for a brain storm and frothy coffee, its chilled and spacious, and the service is great without them rushing you off if you're sitting down and not eating. Good meeting place in the evening if you are on the looking.

I think the P&P always attracts a similar clientele as All Bar One, its young and furnky and full of after work professionals. Its a great little hang out, with both floors being able to hold a decent amount of people, so when busy it has that club vibe.

The Panama Bar is just off the main road and offers a great night out. The last time i was here the waiter told us that the wine we were having was made from grapes only picked during a full moon, who cares if it was or night, we spent all night chatting to him and drinking the bottle. Great service.

Get everything here, its literally your one stop shop, to drink, eat and dance the night away. Its cool and modern and clean inside with young funky waiters. The restaurant has a good menu and the food has never been a disappointment. Would totally recommend.

Theres certainly a bit of meat market mingling going on in here, even if you arent aware of it. Its a great bar to be in if you are falling over drunk and theres a decent floor upstairs to move those glizy high heels, or dance around them.

So many great places in the Mailbox and this is another one, its the sort of place you can actually bring a date and have a relaxed time, whilst still feeling the buzz of a busy pub. Its definitley a more 'upper class' sort of place, or snooty if you dont like that kind of thing, its pretentous and i love it.

I know these are everywhere, but theres always something about an All Bare One, it attracts the finer more professional some would say snootier clientele but i think its a great evening out and fab at lunch time too when you actually stand a chance of getting served within 10 minutes.

Its so a girly gossip and catch up place, with the venue itself being very young and modern with a nice champagne cocktail on offer. Its a little more expensive than other pubs, but its what you would expect to pay for this style of bar and restaurant. Ive only had starters and dessert but i can certainly recommend both.

The only thing missing from here is your feather boa, in fact this place is mainly for gays and girls, who know how to party in a gay joint. Its very relaxed and make sure you shake your booty if you are gonna come here, if you are going to stand at the bar with a face on then go somewhere else. Great atmos in here.

Mayb im getting loud as i do appreciate decent live bands but you can find bands here almost every night and they really pump out the sound. Some great talent can be found in here, but i find you need a few beers before hand.
