Review of Old Crown

A treat
Tiny, tiny place in the tiny, tiny village of High Hesket, but well worth a stopover, especially if you have been for a bit of a ramble.
You must stop here and try the pub's own ale, brewed out the back. It's especially cosy in the winter with the fire on.

Review of The Vauxhall Griffin

Best pub in Vauxhall
A great local pub that tries to offer something for everyone...and succeeds!
Lunchtimes are busy with the local office crowds, evenings for the locals (and the Tuesday quizzers) and the weekends are open late for DJs and dancing.
A very friendly staff, great jukebox and Kopparberg pear cider all help.

Review of Bonnington Cafe

Always a surprise
The best bits of London are the bits where you don't actually feel like you're in a city of 10 million people! Bonnington Café is exactly that - an unexpected treat.
The food is tasty, healthy and a bargain. The atmosphere is like no other place to eat and the surroundings are gorgeous. We love it.
