old man pub 
a gret little old man pub at the end of a terrace of houses. The coke is served in cans but the beer is good. Highly recommended for a nice quiet drink

Lethal Mai Tais 
Was surprisingly empty at 10pm on a Friday night so no wrries about finding tables or queueing at the bar!
The cocktails were fabulous but absolutely lethal, I dread to think how much alcohol was in them! Try the Mai Tais - love them!
The staff are really friendly and there is a really lovely relaxed atmosphere here

didn't live up to expectations 
I was really dissappointed with my meal here! Firstly the waitress was terrifying!!! My dining parter said he was surprised she didn't throw the plates down on the table!
I had a mushroom pizza and am convinced the mushrooms came out of a tin!
Would probably try one more time as it had potential

Love it!
This is a fab place for a night out, few quiet drinks or a footy match. They have loads of screens for watching sport and it is usually a brilliant atmosphere.
Gets really busy on a Friday/Saturday night and can take a while to get served at the bar.

Perfect if you are on a budget 
Good pub if you are on a budget - This is a Weatherspoons so very similar to the others although this one doesn't seem to get as busy as the others in Reading. The place is huge so always plenty of places to sit and the beer garden is lovely in the Summer. Good range of drinks at decent prices.

great place to eat
Fabulous place to pop in and have a bite to eat before going the the cinema. The service was quick and friendly and the food value for money.
We had the unappetisingly named slug platter but it was really tasty (and not made from slugs)

perfect chill out on a Sunday night
Only been on a Sunday night but it was really relaxing on the big Leather sofas. The Decor is really fab and I reckon on a Friday or Sat night it is a wicked place to meet up with a bunch of pals!

Absolutely foul! 
This place is disgusting. The only reason for ever going in here would be that it is 2am and everwhere else is closed or have massive queues! If you can find a toilet that has a seat or isnt filled to overflowing with loo roll then you are a luckier person than I!

sometimes good sometimes bad
This was always a fave night out - great place to start on a Friday or Saturday however the other night we waited at the bar for 10 mins and there wasn't a single person serving! Disappointing but may just have been a bad night for them. Would definately try it again.

Great place to eat. Fairly healthy and the food is always tasty and fresh. Can get busy so be aware you will be sharing your table, may be squashed in and queue out the door but wel worth it. Keep an eye on thier website and in the local press for vouchers too - regularly do buy one get one free on main courses

slow service
possibly the slowest place to eat in Reading - the staff are friendly but always running around like headless chickens. The queue is often out the door simply to get a table - once you are in and the food has arrived it's alright

Brilliant night out
Fantastic place to meet mates or have a date! Great atmosphere, wide range of drinks - both wines and the beer brewed in thier own micro brewery.
The restuarant is also highly recommended - the Pizza is to die for

It is truely a pleasure visiting this bank! The customer service is the best in the business and they listen to what you want and don't try to sell you things you don't need! Excellent range of services and products - no wonder watchdog voted them number 1 high street bank!

...coz I'm worth it!
I love this hairdressers! Firstly the hairdressers don't look down thier noses at you like so many psoh salons and secondly the atmosphere is so relaxing! I'd say the prices are fair and it is well worth it. If you can stretch to the £60 cost to see the salon director then do it - not only is he gorgeous but he gives the best hair cuts!
I'm told they are planning a refurb which will make it even better! My hair is getting shorter and shorter as I love going there

Great if you fancy cheese
As to be expected possibly the cheesiest place to spend the night but if you are after a bit of 9-5 or club tropicana this is your place!
Normally dead cheap drinks too - some odd characters to we watched out for (also watch out for the stairs to and from the toilets - get slippy towards the end of the night and you wouldn't want to fall down them)
