old man pub 
a gret little old man pub at the end of a terrace of houses. The coke is served in cans but the beer is good. Highly recommended for a nice quiet drink

a little gem
Stumbled accross this pub by accident and couldn't have got a warmer welcome from the landlord/lady! Outside is the most delightful suntrap where we enjoyed our drinks. Only stopped in for a quickie but am looking forwards to returning

As pubs should be.. 
This charming little pub is tucked away in the aptly named flask lane. We stopped here on our way to the tube from a walk round Hampstead heath on a sunny bank holiday and luckily got a table outside. The bitter was good ahich is becoming a rarity!

busy but worth it!
We walked up to the Flask having been walking round Hampstead Heath all morning and it was well worth the uphill struggle in the sun! The courtyard garden is stuffed with an absolute jumble of tables and chairs but it is somehow charmingly quirky! Our food took over an hour to arrive and you will never see a more orderly queue for a bar but somehow as we weren't in a hurry it didn't matter. Looking forward to my next visit

Love it! 
This is a fab place for a night out, few quiet drinks or a footy match. They have loads of screens for watching sport and it is usually a brilliant atmosphere.
Gets really busy on a Friday/Saturday night and can take a while to get served at the bar.

Cheap and cheerful
Great pub in the heart of Oxford city centre. The food is cheap and cheerful and the restaurant area is huge so never and problem getting a table. Loads of little cubby hole type areas so sit in and have a quiet drink with pals!

beautiful in the Sun
This is a great pub to go to in the Summer to sit outside. Although you are sitting on the pavement it is the perfect place to people watch. Located right in the heart of university buildings it is a stunning location.

good pub
This place is a great place for a few drinks but don't expect a seat on a Friday or Saturday night as it gets really busy. The staff don't ever seem in a particular hurry to get through the queues at the bar.
Prices are OK and there are a wide range of drinks to choose from

stunning food
Went here for a birthday meal for a family member and the food was stunning. We all had steak, all cooked differently and with different sauces and different side dishes (which would confuse many) but we all go exactly what we ordered.
Great wine list and lovely relaxed atmosphere
Must book though!

not your usual local
This is more of a restaurant now than it used to be. With an extensive menu and great range of drinks this places gets really really busy so would reccommend booking. The deli boards are great to share with pals over a bottle of wine or if you fancy something more filling the burger made with horse radish is amazing.

Perfect if you are on a budget
Good pub if you are on a budget - This is a Weatherspoons so very similar to the others although this one doesn't seem to get as busy as the others in Reading. The place is huge so always plenty of places to sit and the beer garden is lovely in the Summer. Good range of drinks at decent prices.

Great little local
Great local pub, friendly staff and wide range of drinks available. Beautiful garden in a central village location, perfect place to take the kids in Summer as there is a small adventure playground in the garden.

great place to eat
Fabulous place to pop in and have a bite to eat before going the the cinema. The service was quick and friendly and the food value for money.
We had the unappetisingly named slug platter but it was really tasty (and not made from slugs)

perfect chill out on a Sunday night
Only been on a Sunday night but it was really relaxing on the big Leather sofas. The Decor is really fab and I reckon on a Friday or Sat night it is a wicked place to meet up with a bunch of pals!

Absolutely foul! 
This place is disgusting. The only reason for ever going in here would be that it is 2am and everwhere else is closed or have massive queues! If you can find a toilet that has a seat or isnt filled to overflowing with loo roll then you are a luckier person than I!

sometimes good sometimes bad 
This was always a fave night out - great place to start on a Friday or Saturday however the other night we waited at the bar for 10 mins and there wasn't a single person serving! Disappointing but may just have been a bad night for them. Would definately try it again.

Perfect Summer pub
Fab central location in Oxford - situated on the river it is the perfect place to spend a summers afternon/evening. The interior isn't great but there is so much seating outside it doesn't matter! Wouldn't recommend it in bad weather! Can get very busy on perfect summer days.
