It was nice 
A pub that sits inbetween old man pub and new bar. It's strange really, clearly the building and setting is steeped in history but it's also contemporary in decor.
Food was of a standard pub variety - mostly fried!! Well priced but not somewhere I would go out of my way to get to.

The best! 
I'm half chinese so when it comes to takeaway Chinese food - I'm incredibly fussy!
However, I have aboslutely no reservations both recommending and eating from Kenilworth Cantonese Takeaway. This is the best *BAR NONE* in Kenilworth. The food is excellent and the customer service brilliant!
If you're strapped for cash and can only afford one takeway, make it this ONE!!! You will not be dissappointed.

Loved it!!
Nice and brash with a hint of 70's, like all good curry houses should have!
The waiters are friendly and will recount stories of how this was Chris Tarrant's favourite curry house when he lived in the Midlands.
The food was top notch albeit not overly pricey - a well enjoyed meal at a place I would wholeheartedly recommend.

Nice
Chilled, relaxed with a roomy and airy feel and lots of beautiful people. To be honest I felt like I didn't belong there, but enjoyed oggling all the same lol ;-)
Pricey drinks wise but the decor more than makes up for it with it's classy feel - thoroughly recommended.

What can you Say?
It's a typical mass market city club where the music is commercial trance and the back room is 70's cheese. Not much R&B which dissappointed me, but the dj is good and mixes well.
Quite a young vibe in there, I would think the average age being early twenties and it's drinks are pricey.
Personally not my cup of tea.

Party Night
There are only 3 things that make a club appealing to me in an age where you can drink in pretty much any bar until 2am.
One is atmosphere - the Fan Club isn't pretentious or chavvy like some of the more mainstream places in the city. It's clothing policy is whatever you feel comfortable in, which makes it a winner for trainers and jeans.
The Second thing is music. the Fan Club's music is unique - Thurs is 60's in the main room and commercial dance & R&B in the back room with Steffan La Touche from Leicester Sound on the decks. Friday's is more 80's groove & party and Saturdays more 90's cheese and CLUB CLASSICS!!!
The third thing is price, it's cheap to get in and cheap to drink in - what more do you want from a club?

Private Party 
I was lucky enough to work this venue since the refurb - and what a delightful little place it is. It's slightly isolated, which means no neighbour complaints on noise and the wooden floors and nice corner bar make it perfect for both match days and private functions.
