Review of Oliver's Sandwich Bar

Friendly and Personable
What a great sandwich shop, the staff are always lovely and friendly and they get to know your order after a while!!! It is much better than heading up to tesco for a pre packaged sandwich.

Review of Ohso Social
19 May 08, 10:50
Great food, great location
I really love the food in Ohso, particularly the mussels in a chorizo sauce with foccacia bread!!! The menu is fairly small but i think this contributes to its success, as they produce good quality food. The setting is perfect, you are sat pretty much on the beach, just be careful not to burn your back as i have done a fair few times!

Review of Pitcher and Piano
06 May 08, 14:42
Great cocktails, good food
Pitcher and Piano has a lot to offer. Head down there during the week and you can grab a cocktail for £3 or a bottle of wine for £10 on a Thursday. The bar itself is modern, sophisticated and stylish. You can even hire out areas of the bar for a birthday celebration.
The food is good, it isn't exceptional but it is definatly good food for your money. We went there on Valentine's day and paid £25 for 5 courses! The only problem was that there was quite a wait between each course. The open plan kitchen means that you can see exactly what your food is up to though!
I would definatly head down there for a bite to eat, cocktails with friends (try the easy mango, its lush!) or a little birthday gathering before heading to a club.

Review of Ha! Ha! Bar & Canteen
06 May 08, 14:34
Good for a catch up
I do enjoy Ha Ha bar for a catch up with friends over a nice drink. The bar offers a relaxed and informal yet stylish setting and it is situated just by the Royal Pavilion Gardens in a lovely cobbled square. I would perhaps avoid it on a friday or saturday night though if you are wanting a more relaxed vibe.

Review of Primark
06 May 08, 14:30
Not that impressed
I was not that impressed by the new Primark store. When it first opened i was hoping for a tidy, organised store where i can actually find various styles in the right sections and a size other than a 16! Unfortunatly this one does not live up to my expectations, every style seems to be in a miss hap area and they don't seem to get in a lot of the styles that i like and find in other stores.

Review of Market Diner
06 May 08, 14:20
Greasy and cheap, perfect at 3am!
I know its been a good night when i end up in Market Diner, it usually means that i've spent so much of the night dancing, i really need some serious calorie intake! You can chose whichever combination you like, i always have sausages beans and hash browns, whilst my boyfriend has a mega gut buster. This is definatly the place for a post night out fry up!

Love Love Love especially Sunday!!
I love love love Komedia especially on a Sunday. 3 great acts for a fiver i don't think you can beat that really! Plus a lovely bar and a sweet coffee shop above, this place is a winner. The only thing i would say is that the food is a little too pricey!!!

Review of Miss Selfridge

Miss Selfridge - Fantastico!!!
I have to say i've never been a huge fan of Miss Selfridge but since i've lived in Brighton i've had a love affair with the store! This store is a good size, not too big, not too small and the clothes are always up to the minute fashion! I've just bought a dress in there for a very reasonable £40 and hoping to wear it for all occasions!

Review of Open House

Open House is perfect any night of the week
Open House provides the perfect atmosphere for any night of the week. Head there at the weekend for a little boogy or pop down during the week for a relaxed evening with a cooling drink and brilliant food. I would definatly advise trying the goats cheese ciabbata, very yummy! Living up to its name, Open House is covered in art work from the Open House artists.

Review of Honeyclub
02 May 08, 09:49
Love a bit of Honeyclub
For me Honeyclub epitomises the unique nightlife that is Brighton. You can not find Honeyclub anywhere but in Brighton, the spacious dance floor is perfect to dance the night away, especially on Hed Kandi night. Hed Kandi is a must, coming to Honeyclub on the last Friday of every month it is the perfect night of dirty/funky house! Also check out the cheap drinks prices for students during the week.
