not much can go wrong with a chippy and this place is just the average chippy nothing special nothing horrid, overall quite good. definately recommend the battered sausage, very greasy but nevertheless very nice.

probably the best pie in the world 
as i walked in here i noticed a sign saying probably the best pie shop in the world. i can honestly say i was impressed by the chicken pie and cant really complain but i think they 'probably' use the world 'probably' in a very 'probable' sense here 'probably'

i have to admit i have only been here once, however the chap who cut my hair was very talkative, infact if im honest he was bonkers! im the sort of person who likes to have a chat whilst my hair gets cut, but this was an extreme! i left feeling violated and abused...... nice hair cut though

most places when talking about mortgages are always on the prowl to rip you off. this place seems to be one of those. i went in to discuss some things about a mortgage i was taking out with nationwide and they said they could find a better deal. after discussing for just under an hour, i realised it wasnt going to be a better deal. an hour of my life wasted!

you spin me right round
this place has some right belters in it. if your into the old retro and rock era then this place is definately worth a visit. full of hidden treasures. the guy behind the counter is very friendly and always eager to chat. good atmosphere, wont leave dissapointed. the only problem is that it doesnt cater very well for the dance/club scene - but thats not a problem for me!

this has the classic local chippy feel to it. the prices are very cheap but they are not too generous with their chips... The fish however is a whopper, the batter is nice and crispy and the size of the fish is banging! reasonable chippy overall
