Review of Cafe Des Amis Du Mexique

Muy Bueno !!
Hi to you all that like a good nosh..... This place is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. It reminds me of being in some kind of student chill zone. But there is a real mix of people that go there. The music is apparent, not low which adds to the atmosphere. the food is pretty good too. Always washed down with the house red, which is paletable and a sparkling water. Wish they did Chilli con carne, dont know why they dont. I aksed and they didnt know, perhaps I was being crass, but I like Chilli...! Anyway, if you are in Canterbury and with a panging for chilli, why not try this place. Its fun !!

Review of V C Jones Fish and Chip Shop
21 Apr 08, 13:01
Flippin Lovely Fish...!
Theres nothing worse than unwrapping a portion of Fish and Chips to be disappointed by what lies inside....the greasy battered delivering of old fish and a portion of overbaked chips...Yuk. However, I have been to VC Jones's Fish and Chip shop for years and it never ever disappoints me. The fish is always fresh battered and fryed in dripping and is just so delicious. The chips are fat and steaming. Just overload with copious amounts of vinegar and salt. Eat the steaming lot out of the paper and indulge yourself in that little moment of calorie busting great british food. Feel like going back now !!

Review of Knowles and Godden

Flying sparks....not !!
If you are looking for an excellent Electrician then I can recommend Knowles and Godden Ltd. Ive used them for over 10 years at our business and they have always been excellent. The price is reasonable too, so i know that I am not being ripped-off. They do household wiring and industrial wiring installation, testing and maintenance.

Review of Beltinge Charity Shop

Good bargain
In Beltinge a new shop has opened which used to be the Vets practice. Now a Charity shop with loads of odds and ends. Usually frequented by people looking for a bargain. The shop is nicely laid out with plenty of books and videos. It also sells electrical stuff and all sorts of unusual items. The money goes towards Diabetes UK, a worthwhile cause. Worth popping in if you are passing.

Review of The Gandhi
09 Apr 08, 08:08
Friendly staff
We've been to the Gandhi several times. Mostly the food is excellent. I always go for my favourite 'Chicken Jalfrezi' Its very good. My partner always has something different. And never too long to wait to be served. Could do with a lick of new paint though ! The prices are reasonable and the restaurant doesnt need to be booked unless you are going on a Saturday. Certainly the best in the town right now.
