Review of Tang Chinese

Excellent All You Can Eat Chinese 5*

Having not gone out for a staff outing for quite some time, we decided that Saturday was the time to break this trend. A few days before we had received a leaflet for a new Chinese All You Can Eat Restaurant. Being typical guys myself and my second in command decided that the venue would be Tang Chinese. We arrived about 8pm on Saturday evening and welcomed be a delightful member of their mangement. He guided us to a sutiable table for six of us and asked us if the table was ok. (Very impressed with that as a lot of restaurants just put you where they want you to sit.) Within a few moments we were presented with a drinks menu. A wide selection of British drinks aswell as Chinese. A few members of the party tried something new and went for the Chinese beer and I must say when we left it was all empty glasses. Within literally 2 minutes of ordering our drinks they arrived and we were told to simply help our self to the buffet. The buffet was very clean, full and smelt lovely. The food all looked and smelt fresh and the selection was extensive. We worked our way around the table and between us all we must have sampled everything the buffet had to offer. We loved every single bit of it. Not one plate was was left with food. Most of us enjoying second and sometimes third helpings. Once the main buffet had filled us enough, we moved to the desert buffet. Starting at the fruit and finishing with the Ice Cream. Oh gosh it was lovely and finished our buffet of in the best possible way. Our table was kept clear throughout the meal and members of staff were always available should we have required any more drinks. The venue itself is recently redecorated and has some of the cleanest toilets I have seen. I must say all six of us were throughly impressed by Tang Chinese, the food, the drinks, the service, the price and the venue were all excellent. Check it out you will not be disappointed.

Review of The Regal

Good Prices - Get Very Busy Though 4*

The Regal (JD Wetherspoons Biggest Establishment) is an excellent hang out for all ages. It has a large menu, served throughout the majority of the day, a wide selection of drinks and reasonable prices. The waiting times are normally ok, and thge food is kind of average for the price. On the whole it is normally clean but does fill up very quickly in the evenings, especially on weekends, meaning that it is sometimes a struggle to get to the bar.

Be glad to hear other peoples views on Cambridge's biggest pub.

Review of The Haywain

Good Food Pub 5*

The Haywain is probably what I would call my local pub. It has an excellent decor and atomoshere. Its main attraction for myself and my partner is its food, it is truely fantastic for pub food, and the prices are market leading. (8oz Steak meal for under £6) The menu isn't huge but there's a wide variety of different dishes, from steak to curry, sunday dinners to toasties. It has a nice enclosed beer garden for those warm summer days and regular activities such as Quiz nights. If your in the area and fancy a quick drink or a quick meal, try it out. I am sure you will not be disappointed.

Review of Man On The Moon

Best Live Music Pub In Cambridge 5*

When I first moved to Cambridge a few years back from Wales, the Man in the Moon was one of the first pubs that I ever went into. Being a former event organiser and having spent many of my younger years in an alternative music pub in Wales it instantly appealed to me. The atomosphere is fantastic, the staff are the nicest people you would ever want to meet and they even have an adorable pub cat who will quite frequently be sitting on top of the juke box. On top of this, it has a large selection of drinks, pool table, large TV and a live music act of some variety on literally almost every night of the week. If you like beer, you like music and you like meeting people, then this is the pub for you.

Review of Flaming Wok

Best Chinese In Cambridgeshire 5*

Located on Ramsey Road, St Ives, The Flaming Wok is Cambridgeshire’s best Chinese takeaway. They offer a wide range of meals, all at affordable prices. They have several meal deals where you can feed all of the family at a discounted rate. As well as all of the food being delicious in both quality and taste, the staff are fantastic and the nicest people you would ever hope to meet. More often than not they will give the children free fortune cookies to amuse them while you are waiting for your food to be prepared (which is never very long.) Myself and my partner regularly eat from this Chinese and not once have we ever been disappointed, the quality of service and the food are always excellent. Give it a try.

Review of Burton Menswear

Excellent Menswear Store, Only Fault No Bar? 5*

Located inside the Grafton Centre, Burtons Menswear is the ideal menswear shop. Whether your after the latest fashions or something to wear on a stag doo, Burtons is the ideal place. I recently shopped there while in search of combat clothes for my best friedns stag doo. Being a typical male, shopping does not come easy to me. However, their polite and friendly staff took on the challenne and found me the ideal clothes to wear. All of which came easily withing my budget and I was in and out in under ten minutes. The ideal mens clothes shop, although it is missing a bar.
