Bigger and better
This is bigger than alot of appliance stores in the close area. They have loads of bits for the home. Not all electrical either! Worth a look as it is quite reasonable. Check out their nik naks and gadgets section, you could find some hidden gems!

Whenever i walk past this Bon Marche store i always seem to focus on the floral clothing displayed in the windows. Its not my cup of tea but gran like it and i know she is on a budget and it helps to shop in here as its not too expensive for her.

Flavours!
Sometimes it is a wonderfull little treat to nip in here and pick up a small bag of flavoured tobacco. They have such a great variety to choose from. From Vanilla to cherry. Its not quite as expensive as normal tobacco and just makes a nice change.

This place is fab for all kinds of stationary. It is funny to watch the hoards of people that flock here just before term starts after summer holidays! Sports mad
The staff in here really seem to knopw their stuff and are quite sports mad. They don't just stock sporty gear for just sports wear, you can also pick up some great polo shirts, t shirts and jackets from here too. A little more expensive that near by shops but the quality is good.

JD is the place to buy things on a budget. The prices are rock bottom. You generally won't get much wear out of the clothes, maybe one year or so, but the price reflects this. This particular branch has lots of varied stock available.

It seems to me that Off Licenses seem to be vanishing before our eyes. It is really great that More and More are still going. They have a good range of drinks to choose from and some quirky tipples if you fancy a change. Not quite as cheap as the supermarkets but a much wider range.

PDSA is a great charity for animals and with this in mind i don't mind nipping in for a browse. I took some bits in to donate once and the lady that was serving was so very grateful it nearly bought a tear to my eye. A good range and worth a browse!

There isn't that much to choose from in here, but what they have is very cheap and oh so cute. It is great for growing kids because you don't waste a fortune on clothes they will grow out of soon. The staff are good, i say staff, there is usually only one staff member at any time!

As one of the other reviews said the portions in here are huge. You could order for 3 and it would easily fill 4 maybe even 5 but you can feel a little awkward doing this. atmosphere is good and it is usually busy with groups of people ready to go to the theatre down the road.

This branch of Burgler King is a really good size. In the summer especially fast food outlets get crammed in Plymouth. It is quite easy to get a seat in here. The food is standard Burger King food. The staff could be a little chirpier but hey, a seat and a burger is all you want from here.

Bideford is only a small town and Rugby can so easily be over shadowed by Football. Dispite this they have a good standard team for the size of the town and play great matches. Worth going to look if you fancy a change to football, you will be made to feel most welcome.

This is a standard McDonalds restaurant. It has all the regular food on offer. The car park at the front is a tad too small for the custom it attracts and you will often find in car burger munchers have migrated to the business park ar park just next door to eat. This place is huge, and te staff they have get lost behind massive towers of binders and A4 note pads. It is hard to know where to look if you are after a certain item as there is just no signage at all. They doo seem to stock most stationary bits though and the prices are good.

There is not always heaps of space inside to eat here. Especially in the summer. If you have to go outside do be careful of the sea gulls as Sarah said. Best to nip back to the car. Although wherever you eat, you will adore it. The food is just great.

A funny little place.
Yam Yamz is just on a corner in Ilfracombe. I was looking for it one day and walked past it about 3 times until i noticed it. It is a strange little cafe, i opened the door and the whole place turned and looked at me. The cafe smelt of grease but i persisted and ate here and was surprised that the food was ok. I probably won't return though.

Headlines is a good little salon. I do tend to flit from hairdresser to hairdresser depending on who can squeeze me in. These guys do nearly as many men as women and the prices are very good. The girls all seem to be able to have a laugh while working which makes you feel at ease.

When you walk through the huge and heavy wooden doors to this bank it does somehow feel like you are stepping back in time a little. This is a small family run catering business. Great to use for events be it weddings, parties etc. They are so reasonable, all the food is homemade and the service is personal and friendly

Local meat
When you live in such a rural area, the lambs you pass on the way to work in the morning, could very well end up on your plate. Shapland and Searle use local meats and if you ask they can tell you exactly where they came from which is fab!

Where?
George Arcade doesn't get the passers by t deserves - usually because people are intimidated by the crowds of kids hangign around. Those kids should go to this shop and open their minds. It is full of imagination stirring craft bits. Great for keepingkids off the street and good prices too.

Thres alot of years in Molton
South Molton goes back so many years. It used to be a really rural farmingcommunty and it you fancy having a look at how it all used to be before all the houses were built then visit the museum, Great to see the old cattle markets in full swing. Worth a visit.

Surprising
I find it a wee bit of a surprise that this place is still going to be honest. It is only a small shop and tucked away around the corner of the square in South Molton. Good range of foods etc but not really fitting in this town

Love it!
The yard at Griffins just gets absolutely littered with people and their exhibitions. Quite amusing to see the locals squabble over a place to display. Worth a look around, it may open your eyes a wee bit.

This has to be one of the only take away shops i know that genuinly use the number system all the time. The staff know them off by heart....... number 3, 23, and 70 please!! Ha! Good grub and wel priced too.

South Molton really isn't the type of town to embrace a wine bar. Since stumbles opened it has seen regular molton folk dress up and try to be sophisticated! It just doesn't fit. A lovelly wine bar though, a bit pricey but it has class.

Yeah its ok.
It serves beer at areasonable price and that is it really. There is a small pool table for entertainment but the room around it is a tad cramped. Local maids serving behind the bar too.

Teachers reunion?
It made me laugh when i went here one day and saw lots of my old teachers having a go! It is a lovelly club though and very friendly and welcoming to new members.If you like bowling, you will feel at home here.

Calm down!
South Molton's fans are well known for being slightly n the rowdy side!! You can have a great day out here if you enjoy the sport, it pretty much depends on the local crowds. If South Moltoners calmed down a bit, it may busy up.
