Tiny and never open 
This newsagents is tucked away behind the square in Witheridge.Not only hard to find, it is tiny and can't store much stock and 99 percent of the time it is closed! Rubbish

Granny loved it! 
My grandmother came to see my family - my parents live in Witheridge. She stayed here. Now, granny is very fussy, but she had no complaints about this place. She had a beautifull, clean room and the service she recvieved was fantastic with great meals. Very reasonable prices too.

Good food 
The dog is a great traditional village pub. The locals love it and are very welcoming to tourists. Make sure you chat with the locals if you visit as they always have some great tales to tell of the local area. Cheap beer and a good variety and lovely grub

Review of Angel Of Witheridge

Choose carefully 
Witheridge is a strange little village. If you are in the area and fancy a trip to one of their 2 pubs, choose carefully because if you are spotted going in to the dog by the lanlord of the Angel, he will never let you in. How random! Saying that, the Angel is a nice little pub. A good range of beers and the landlords are friendly, if you choose their pub first that is!
