Local local 
It can be hard to find Watertown Garage if you don't know the local area. Because of this they tend to be used mostly by people from Appledore and Northam. I have had dealings with them and it wasn't cheap! They did a good job though.

Yep they do look after loads and loads of holiday lets. for residential enquiries you may want to check out the bigger fis in Bideford for more choice.

Yep good good
I was pleased when i had my hair done here. It wouldn't be my first choice but it was good. The stylists were a little bored. It felt like it was an effort to chat to me. Oh well, maybe because it was a Monday

How do they do it? 
A friend had a leak and these guys came out to have a look. Cracking pair of guys and they were straight onto the job. Giving advice for maintaining the carpet and at a reasonable price.

Knapp house used to have a terrible reputation. Use your imagination and change the word Knapp! But these days it seems to have moved up. A cheap place to camp and always busy in the summer. Worth a go i say!

Tucked away
If you can find this shop then have a little look around It is tucked away in a tiny street away from the main...ehem...'buzz' of Appledore. Quite pricey but it depends how far your wallet stretches

I have been to Skern so many times with work and such like. It is a fabulous place with so many activities on offer. But when i wanted to book abseiling for just me and my Mum it was a nightmare! No one seemed to know when we could do it or how much. I gave up in the end,

Smallest ever!
This news agents is so small it makes me chuckle, It does have a good range of stock though which is surprising. The staff are friendly too and it is opposite the best pub in Appledore - the rose and crown so pop in for a pint after that stressfull stamp purchase.

When this place has live music nights it is jammed with Appledorians. I even know of a couple of pubs that shut so they can go too! Great little place tucked away by the water front.

Parking is a nightmare in Appledore but if you are determined to get a good feed then use the car park and fly into this place. Best food in Appledore i think. Good range of drinks too

I know people that will travel for miles to visit this fish and chip shop. The food is simply fab and the service is friendly, local and warm. A great small village business that does very well because of the hard work that is so obviously put into customer service and quality of food.
