5 of us had dinner at Carvosso's in Chiswick last night and having wanted to go for ages to eat there, I was not let down. Service was exceptional, food was delicious. Fritters were the favoured starter and duck the best main, although apparently the tuna and the calves liver were exceptional too. Homemade Tirimasu won the dessert contest with the Creme Brulee not far behind. Only dish that wasnt as good as hoped was the strawberry cheesecake which was more cake than dessert and a little bland but everything else was perfect. Finished expecting a hefty bill and was very pleasantly surprised to find it incredibly reasonable! Shall definitely be making this a regular haunt from now on.
