Review of Lightship Ten

Lightship Ten 2*

After a visit to the Tower Bridge or the Tower of London the Lightship Ten is the right place to have a little break. There' a string of souvenir shops and a pub called Dickens Inn. The only "sad" thing is that to build this port about 1200 houses were destroyed and about 11.000 people lost their house.

Review of Dulwich Picture Gallery

Dulwich Colletction 4*

This interesting gallery contains the Collection of the Dulwich College. It inludes paintings of: raffaello, Rembrandt, Rubens, Reynolds, Gainsborough, Lely, van Dick and much more. There's a specifi area dedicated to the temporary galleries and a café. I spent about 2 hours in this museum and it was a very good time.

Review of Mango Room

Caribbean Dishes 5*

This is a Caribbean restaurant characterised by a calming atmosphere and it's a place appreciated by young poeple and not! Maybe it's not the real example of the real Caribbean feel but, the quality of food is very very good, above all about fish and the mango's dishes. What it's fabolous is the jamaican soundtrack!!

Review of Auld Shillelagh

Come On "Heavy Drinker"!! 5*

This pub is really appreciated from the "heavy drinkers"! This is one of the best Irish Pub in Lonodon. This pub offers a wide set of beers, for every predilection. The unique thing is that this pub is, at the same time, a lively and recess place. More, the staff is careful and qualified. There are often live events and... the Guinnes is very good!!

Review of Bar Vinyl

16 Apr 08, 16:59

Pleasant Place 4*

Too quiet, "confident" and with a welcome atmosphere , the Bar Vinyl is one of the first bars, in London, that gave hospitality to the DJs. There are particular retró chairs and music is pleasant. To spend some hours in this bar is a real pleasure, but, don't go there on the weekend becasue it would be a mission impossible to find a seat!

Shoes Shoes Shoes and Shoes 3*

I love this place, every time I have been I've walked out with a pair of shoes. The shoes here are amazing but a bit out of the price range for most of us.The designs are timeless and elegant without being too pretentious, and the shop itself is beautiful, and never seems to be too busy.

Review of Liberty and Co

14 Apr 08, 17:14

Liberty 4*

Liberty is a fantastic Tudor building that was built with the beams two ships. A couple of the nice architectural details include commemorative carvings honoring the Liberty employees who died in the past. With small, intimate staircases, intricately designed elevators, wooden balconies and glass atriums – this has to be one of the most aesthetically pleasing and unique department stores in the city

Review of Rococo Chocolates

14 Apr 08, 17:02

Heaven's Chocolate!! 5*

This is the best place to eat the real chocolate, not the usual chocolate that we can find everywhere: Swiss chocolates, vegan chocolates, chocolate truffles, biological chocolat bars and much more. Remember that chocolate is a medication and you can go to Rococo to free your mind! Chocolate has the power to remove all your sad thoughts and worries!

Review of Vibe Bar

14 Apr 08, 16:43

Not bad 3*

Located in the old Truman Brewery in a small courtyard on Brick Lane. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic about the music and keen to tell you about forthcoming events. Maby music it's too loud, yes, it can annoy. The Vibe Bar prices are cheap at less than £3 a pint (not on the weekend!)

Review of Boxwood Cafe

14 Apr 08, 16:34

New York in London 4*

Nice café that takes on an upscale New York-style café with an emphasis on a more relaxed approach to dining and service. You can find young people because it's not the tipical serious place. You can take what you want, event just a wine glass. If you want to eat, food is good, I ate just an antipasto and it was delicious.
