RE: CHAOS AT THE COTTAGE 
AS OWNER OF THIS BUSINESS I FELT THE NEED TO REPLY TO THIS REVIEW.
THERE HAS BEEN MANY CHANGES IN TERMS OF OUR FOOD OFFERING AT THE ROSE COTTAGE.
THE TEAM OF CHEFS WHO COOKED FOR THIS PARTY HAVE NOW GONE, WITH A NEW TEAM THAT HAVE BEEN WITH US FOR 4 WEEKS NOW.
A FRESH NEW MENU HAS BEEN DEVELOPED BY OUR HEAD CHEF SCOTT YOUNG, WITH FRESH LOCAL PRODUCE BEING USED WHEREVER POSSIBLE (MEAT, VEGETABLES & FISH)
IF OUR CUSTOMERS HAVE ANY ISSUES WITH OUR BUSINESS, WE WILL ALWAYS DO OUR BEST TO RECTIFY THOSE ISSUES ON THE DAY. WE ARE NEVER HAPPY TO HAVE NEGATIVE COMMENTS SPOKEN ABOUT US, AND FEEDBACK GIVEN TO US IS ALWAYS TAKEN ON BOARD.
IN REACTION TO THE REVIEWERS COMMENTS ON THE LANDLADY, HER GRANDMOTHER AT 8 AM THAT MORNING HAD BEEN RUSHED TO HOSPITAL WITH A BROKEN ANKLE. SO THE COMMENT "HOW ORIGINAL" WAS UNCALLED FOR AND THERFORE SHE WAS UNABLE TO DEAL WITH THIS CUSTOMER.
WE REGRET THAT THIS PARTY DID NOT RECEIVE THE QUALITY OF SERVICE/FOOD WE WOULD EXPECT TO GIVE ALL OUR CUSTOMERS AND WILL STRIVE TO MAKE SURE THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN.
