The end of the road... 
This turning circle of a car park is where the National Express London to Brighton coach ends up. It always signified coming home for me. It's a shame that visitors to Brighton on the coach aren't greeted with something either quirkier or more modern. The current architecture of this space is just dull, dull, dull. And we know Brighton's got SO much more to offer than that.

More wool than fabric... 
In an age where there's lots of consumer choice and places to spend your money, I think this store would do better to increase their range. It's currently more wool than fabric. My request for some wool-mix fabric in a lilac tone wasn't too specific I thought, but they didn't have any in stock. I ended up buying 2.5 metres in Leeds in the end.

Quirky child friendly cafe
This is a quirky child friendly cafe. Tucked in the middle of Blatchington Road, it's always busy on a Sunday. Nice cakes and friendly service. Exceptionally fantastic vintage tea cups and saucers if you're into that kind of thing.

Friendly service
It's always super friendly service in here. The girls are always bright and cheery. Sausage rolls are always a winner, and if you fancy stopping to eat your lunch there's a nice little counter you can perch by and watch the people of Portslade passing by.

Some great bargains...
If you like a great bargain, there's a lot to find in here. It's a pretty good location and the staff are always really friendly. Do something good today and spend some hard earned cash here on someone else's tat!

great selection...shame about the staff
I didn't have a good experience in here at all. I was buying a really good cd for a friends birthday present, which was obviously way too uncool for the counter staff, however, money's money and who cares if I'm not buying the coolest tunes in the shop. At least I'm buying! So, be warned, the staff are really pretentious in here.

down with the kids
I used to buy all my club tickets from Rounder Records. You always get a sense that you're down with the kids in here (although perhaps that's just because I used to be a kid when I shopped in here most). Great location, but beware it's tucked in a real labrynth if you don't know where to go...take a map if you're visiting for the first time.

Always an experience...
This pub is always an experience. I think that it's just a straight forward pub, no frills, decent prices and they do a lovely jacket potato at lunchtime! There's always seating inside and it's a whole heap less scary than the pub on the other side of the level crossing.

Nice big superstore
It's always a treat to go to this Sainsburys..although the downside is that you always end up buying items you just didn't really want because there's so much of it! It's got a fantastic fruit and vegetable section, the parking's really easy and it's alway clean and tidy.

Could be a bit better stocked
Could be a bit better stocked, but really, how much can you squeeze into a small space like this? I'm glad this supermarket's close to the train station, plus it stays open really late every day so it's great if you've run out of some ingredients for the Sunday roast when all the other shops have shut.
