my Fav local 
been living in the area on and off for over 15yrs. and this is quite simlpl my favourite. full hight windows around two sides of the pub give it great natural light in the day time. The terrace is there for the summer. and the people are always friendly.
(no credit cards, and only 30inch T.V. for sky sports, so i'm never there fot the fotball.)
