Sale-ing marvelous!

Back in the day I loved this shop…lots of different brands and styles under one roof….now it is too chav and stupidly expensive.

However the sales are great and you can pick up diesel jeans etc for a fraction of the price.

Review of Box Bar

bit of a box

This bar used to be really popular, it’s still busy but not as good as it used to be…don’t know why. By night; the music is good, atmosphere is busy and is much like many places in Beckenham. I probably wouldn’t spend a whole evening here but its ok for a while.

OK bar good food

This is a nice bar in Beckenham, the clientele can be older although it is still rather chavy and it is a little calmer than other places. The bar is quite small and there are lots of little areas which is much nicer than one open room. The food is good but overpriced. This isn’t my choice of venue but people obviously like it as it is always busy!

A step back in time..

How this place stays open I don’t know. It is like walking into a time warp! This place has not changed in years. It is rather dingy, old fashioned and serves greasy food. Although someone must like it as it is often busy! If you wish you were in 1989 in a Café then go here!

Review of Tesco Stores

Tesco goers..

This is a fairly good Tescos…shelves are usually stacked full and there is a good selection of items in all price ranges. There are also hot food, fish and cold meats counters as well as a restaurant and loos. Although it is a complete pikey haven. There are loads of screaming kids and parents shouting at children. The staff are ok, but a bit yucky. Its is open 24 hours apart from Sunday (I think) and there is a petrol station. Parking is free which is good and there are always spaces. The only thing that spoils this Tescos is the people!

Review of Sainsburys

Food shopping at its most annoying!

This is your typical Sainsbury store…but on a Saturday and Sunday it is full of pensioners and weekend kid’s shelf stacking…or to be more precise not! If you want to wiz round to do the weekly shop, this is not the place to come. It is a really stressful experience. I would not recommend this Sainsbury to anyone unless you are 80 or over or are not in a rush! Shelves are never full and if you should ask for an item the staff never check….mainly as they are Saturday kids and don’t care. Apart from that it is your typical Sainsbury’s.

Review of Walkabout

Rather young!

By Day:

It is good for watching sport or having a quick lunchtime drink. the food is typical walkabout.

By Night: If you are 15 and almost look 18 this is the place to be! It is full of school kids and anyone over the age of 25 will feel ancient! The music is good, if you are in a group of friends you can have a good night. It is just really really young!

Late drink in Bromley

If you want to meet a single mother or man who doesnt know how many kids he has this is where to come! It is the place to go if you find yourself in Bromley after the pub and dont want to travel far,....perfect for that late drink! It could be a good venue but the people do spoil it. You can have a fun night if you are in a group and just want a late drink. Be warned though, do not go here sober!
