Who doesn’t love a good sausage? With BBQ season in full swing…well intermittently weather permitting. If you want a slightly different sausage theme to your BBQ then this is the place to come. They have every sausage under the sun! its amazing!

Review of Pizza Express Restaurants

Typical Pizza Express 
Generally most Pizza Expresses are about the same, the service is good and food is nice. The thing I don’t like about this restaurant is that it is so loud and cold! It has tiled floors and then bare walls so the sound just echo’s around. We had a big group go for dinner a while ago and 30 people all talking at the same time was deafening. It just isn’t cozy...but that is true of all pizza express restaurants!

Not bad for Becks 
I actually really like this bar; it’s fairly newly decorated and much better than before. By day it’s nice to pop in for lunch, the service is good and staff are helpful. Kids are also welcome. By day it is kind of typical of Beckenham…busy and fully of the same young adults making their way around all the bars! It’s not bad and good as a starting place for a night out.

Only good if you are drunk
Unless you are wrecked do not come here. I went here once sober and it was terrible. However the times I have been when tipsy it has been a good laugh. The music is good and it’s quite a giggle. If you grew up in the local area you will bump into everyone you knew from school. Good for a boogie on a little dance floor and a silly late one locally.

This bar used to be really popular, it’s still busy but not as good as it used to be…don’t know why. By night; the music is good, atmosphere is busy and is much like many places in Beckenham. I probably wouldn’t spend a whole evening here but its ok for a while.

I’m not a fan of this place, it is ponsey and overpriced. Full of chavy boys and girls thinking they are amazing! There are often queues… as it is actually very popular, but doesn’t have that friendly atmosphere that other places in Beckenham do.

A pub pub
Well what can I say, it’s an old mans pub. The drink and food is reasonably priced and the service is good. The atmosphere is relaxed and it is much much older than all other pubs in Becks. There is a garden which is lovely in summer especially for an early evening/lunchtime. I do like this pub as it is exactly what it should be…a pub pub!

OK bar good food
This is a nice bar in Beckenham, the clientele can be older although it is still rather chavy and it is a little calmer than other places. The bar is quite small and there are lots of little areas which is much nicer than one open room. The food is good but overpriced. This isn’t my choice of venue but people obviously like it as it is always busy!

Who could not love Patrick’s? It is a typical Irish bar, full of drunken silliness! It is good for watching sport, is busy in the week… so if you are out on a Monday night and looking for somewhere to go then go to Patrick’s! I have been many times on the weekend and had a good time. If you don’t like packed bars then don’t come here as it can get rammed. Good fun though!

I used to love this restaurant. The food was really nice and presented in a modern way. I have taken people here for birthday treats on several occasions (its more of a special occasion place due to price) but the last time I went I wasn’t overly impressed and haven’t been back since. It was ok, but for the price ok isn’t good enough!

Lovely!
This is such a nice Italian restaurant. Been here loads of times and had a lovely meal each time. The food is amazing; there is a good selection and the prices ok... The staff are helpful and the atmosphere is cosy and intimate. It is the perfect place for a romantic meal, family birthday or just a meal out at any time.

This isnt called Bendinat anymore its called Andalucia. This is a great Tapas restaurant by the Church in Beckenham. Parking is easy, which is always a bonus. The restaurant is quite big and we have had a few birthday parties there. The food is good, all the usual tapas are on offer as well as Spanish main courses. The paella is great and as good as those you get in Spain. The staff are friendly and service is good. Prices are average for the area (not too expensive). It’s a nice place to go for a meal anytime and any occasion. I would recommend it.

Gorgeous
This family run Italian restaurant is a fav. It is very cute, always busy so be sure to book…although they will always try to squeeze you in. The food is amazing, there is a good selection and the prices are good. The staff are helpful and the atmosphere is cosy and intimate. It is the perfect place for a romantic meal, family birthday or just a meal out at any time. I would definitely recommend this lovely restaurant.

Friends of Mine is a modern stylish bar and restaurant. By night it is a bit of a posers bar with lots of ‘beautiful people’ or those who think they are and gets very busy. It is a nice place to visit and great if you can get a table. They have a small restaurant to the rear; we last went on mothers day and had a really nice meal. Although the food is far too pretentious for a bar! It is a little overpriced and therefore would not be my top choice. It’s worth a try if stylish yuppie is your thing!

so SO much fun!
This is the perfect place to entertain young children. The activities are endless and they will love it. The climbing/slides/balls go up to the ceiling and there is a balcony level with trampolines. There is also an area with bumper cars and a baby area for very little ones. It is a really safe environment and lots of fun. There is also a cafe and changing facilities. If you have young children or are looking after little'uns for the day then Gambado is the place to go. Adults are aloud to accompany kids around the play area...which is just an excuse for big kids to play! My god daughter loves this place and so do I!

Tesco goers..
This is a fairly good Tescos…shelves are usually stacked full and there is a good selection of items in all price ranges. There are also hot food, fish and cold meats counters as well as a restaurant and loos. Although it is a complete pikey haven. There are loads of screaming kids and parents shouting at children. The staff are ok, but a bit yucky. Its is open 24 hours apart from Sunday (I think) and there is a petrol station. Parking is free which is good and there are always spaces. The only thing that spoils this Tescos is the people!

Amazing O'Neills!
This is a great pub, its nice to visit in the day and is very chilled out with outside seating. By night it is lively, there are people of all ages so no one (over the age of 50 ish) would feel out of place. They often have Kareoke/DJs/Bands/big screens for sports. It is open late and does get busy so you could end up queuing to get in on a friday/saturday night. Endless silly drunken nights have been spent here!
