Review of Drayton Manor Park

Great improvements
Drayton Manor has always had a reputation for a great family day out - now it's a great family day out.
They've spent millions on demolishing the old Robinson land and replacing it with Thomas Land.
The rides are clean, fast and adults can now ride with their children for the first time ever. All the popular Thomas people are there.
The rest of the park is still good - they've tried to clean up parts, but check out Stormforce -they've painted half of it under the water and left the other half full of green slime!! Why only do half a job?
Anyhow, it's still a good day out and if the park bores you there's a zoo, with animals. Wonder if they go on the rides at night??!!

Review of Asda Stores

Asda Tardis!
Now from the outside this Asda store only looks big enough to sell bread and milk - but once you drive round the back then a whole new world of supermarket opens up.
It's abit cramped inside, but the range is great, the store is clean and the staff are very very friendly (My mum works on home and leisure!)

Cheery and Cheap
Now if you run out of something late at night, need something quick for tea or need some good cheap booze then THIS is THE place.
A great family run corner shop business which has service with a smile and you never feel like you've been robbed.
The people behind the counter are charming and it's like popping round your mates for a chat.
The range of food is fair, but sometimes the fruit and veg can bo dodgy.

Review of Copper Bowl

Should have stuck to curry!
Well this place used to be great. You USED to get warm curry with quality ingrediants, yoo USED to get served with a smile and the ladies USED to get a rose when they left. None of this happens now.
I can tell you exactly when things changed - when they started adding chinese and other food types to the menu.
The poppadums are lovely though. The beer tastes abit funny.
Not much for children.

Review of All Bar One

Noisy pint!
Popped in after work the other afternoon for a steak sarnie and pint of lager.
It's one of those trendy business type pubs with people in suits trying to look important. The seating is nice... large chunky wooden tables and chairs. There's even an outside area to sit when the sun shines. Today it's cloudy - but there are people being brave out there.
Now, the only big problem I had was the noise... mumble mumble mumble... it was sometimes hard to hear yourself think - but the food was lovely and the beer went down well.

Review of Birmingham Hippodrome

Most comfy seats in the house
Now people may have worried alot when the old Hippodrome was knocked down to make way for the all new swanky theatre - but they'd have been better off putting that energy into something else.
The place is amazing... It's clearly set out, clean, tidy and bright and funky. All levels are very accessible and you can see straight away where you need to go to get to your seats.
Now, once in those seats you WON'T want to move as they're so so comfy. No lazy arse half way through the performance. You can sit back and enjoy.
There's also plenty of choccie and ice cream stands too. Plus, the staff are so so so so polite and lovely.

Review of Radisson Sas Hotel

Total Luxury
Well I've watched this building come out of the ground and turn into the luxury monster that now stands tall over the city.
We booked into a standard room, but upon arrival we got bumped up to a business class room. We thought yeah - whatever. But my god - King size bed, luxury bathroom products and the room was on the corner of the hotel. With ceiling to floor windows you certainly people with vertigo should think twice!
That sad the views are amazing... you can see for miles and miles. Enough of that though - this hotel is the best I've stayed in for a long long time... you can even get a free performance from birmingham royal ballet if you're clever and tilt your head down towards the hippodrome.
Oh and it's great for bedroom antics too - imagine doing IT whilst the whole of the city watches... quite a thrill!!! (is that allowed!!)

Review of Mr Egg

Mr Egg - Smegg!!
Now then, I used to go here most Saturdays to try and soak up all the booze from the Friday night before. It was then THE place to get the best fry up in the city - but now, well - It's changed owners and leaves alot to be desired.
Not the same standard of sausage, the eggs are over cooked and the whole place could do with a lick of paint.
NOT happy... my stomach was abit dodgy for a few days after too....
On a brighter note - the material egg on the ceiling is still there!!
