Review of Moseley Dance Centre Dance School

23 May 08, 08:41

Flipping wicked phat night out 5*

Now then, it may look like a school hall on the inside - but believe me it's just like the old school discos on the inside.

Amazing place to dance and chill with amazing tunes and amazing people.

It really is just like the innocent school discos once inside. Chairs all around the edge, disco up on stage at the front and nervous looking people getting down to the tunes.

Fabulous!

Review of Bullring Shopping Centre

Luxury shopping 5*

Wow - no pigeons pooing on your shoulder - no tramps sleeping in doorsteps - just relaxing and chilled out atmospheres.

I think they try and chill you out so much so you don't realise that you're spending your money and you shop more. Well it worked.

We thought we'd have to go all over town to look for outfits for our two little ones. How wrong we were. Brilliant facilities and the toilets are clean and smell fresh!! Excellant.

Out of this world 5*

Now - I'd never be able to afford to eat here. So I was so so pleased when the Birmingham Press Club decided to hold their Editors lunch.

The food was amazing... totally amazing... really amazing... mouth watering... I've no idea what I was eating - but that didn't matter. It was amazing.

You should go!

Review of Ethos Urban

Get in the good books! 5*

Right then fellas, do you need something unusual that will get you back in the good books? Well look no further.

Ethos Urban is full of little trinkets that she will LOVE. If you can't find anything then they have some lovely flowers which they'll do magic things with and make it look like you've grown half a tropical garden. The Cabbage flowers are weird - but look great.

Great. friendly service with a smile. Perfection.

Review of Cadbury World

Chocolate heaven 5*

If you hate chocolate - then stay away. You can taste it, smell it, see it and the dream about it!

This place is brill. You'll learn where Mr Cadbury came up with his ideas, how he grew his company from one small shop in to a multi national and you can then have a go at making your own.

Loads of interactive stuff to take part in, there are some boring parts - just walk through the first bit. The statues will make the kids scream anyway! Oh oh oh - look out for the nice Cadbury workers who have to stand still all day dribbling whilst they hand you loads of free chocolate. They do it with one of those " I really don't want to hand this over" smiles.

Review of Dovedale Road Stores

Cheery and Cheap 5*

Now if you run out of something late at night, need something quick for tea or need some good cheap booze then THIS is THE place.

A great family run corner shop business which has service with a smile and you never feel like you've been robbed.

The people behind the counter are charming and it's like popping round your mates for a chat.

The range of food is fair, but sometimes the fruit and veg can bo dodgy.

Review of Birmingham Hippodrome

Most comfy seats in the house 5*

Now people may have worried alot when the old Hippodrome was knocked down to make way for the all new swanky theatre - but they'd have been better off putting that energy into something else.

The place is amazing... It's clearly set out, clean, tidy and bright and funky. All levels are very accessible and you can see straight away where you need to go to get to your seats.

Now, once in those seats you WON'T want to move as they're so so comfy. No lazy arse half way through the performance. You can sit back and enjoy.

There's also plenty of choccie and ice cream stands too. Plus, the staff are so so so so polite and lovely.

Review of Radisson Sas Hotel

29 Apr 08, 09:57

Total Luxury 5*

Well I've watched this building come out of the ground and turn into the luxury monster that now stands tall over the city.

We booked into a standard room, but upon arrival we got bumped up to a business class room. We thought yeah - whatever. But my god - King size bed, luxury bathroom products and the room was on the corner of the hotel. With ceiling to floor windows you certainly people with vertigo should think twice!

That sad the views are amazing... you can see for miles and miles. Enough of that though - this hotel is the best I've stayed in for a long long time... you can even get a free performance from birmingham royal ballet if you're clever and tilt your head down towards the hippodrome.

Oh and it's great for bedroom antics too - imagine doing IT whilst the whole of the city watches... quite a thrill!!! (is that allowed!!)
