This place has some good nights , live bands every friday and on a thursday and saturday it is Karaoke , good laugh to be had, and they have jam night every last thursday of the month

Good party
I like this pub , good mix , the fronmt bar is a proper bar , but also watch out for the party nights tha they hold in the back room , had some good nights out here

saw dust 
this place actually has real saw dust on the floor, good student bar , and you can dance on the tables with out being thrown out , good times always

Football Pub
It is a good place to go for a pint , but I like it best when the football is on , doesn't have teh biggest screens or the best laid out seating , but the vibe is chilled and you can normally get served pretty quick , not a bad rubba dub

My First Pint
I Haven't been in the sun for a while but will always remember it as the place to go if you had a lack in years when it came to drinking , the pool table was always good , as was drunk darts , how is that safe?

the place to go when everywhere else is closed
If there is no where else open after the pub shuts, then the litter tray is the place for you. Drinks are normally a little more expensive than the pub, but if you are on the pull and you are ugly then this is the place for you. it is beer goggles ahoy and as long as you are willing to buy someone a bottle of smirnoff ice then there is every chance that you are going to get some tongue action.

Not great 
Staying at the swan is much like staying in Bay root. There are elements of danger, certainly whilst drinking in the bar, and if you stay there on a friday night, the noise that comes from the market stalls when they are setting up on a saturday morning is similar to gun fire. I am not going to say its great.

yum food!
A lovely friendly atmosphere with friendly staff and pleasant surroudings. A little more variety with the food is needed, but the food already there is very well presented and extremely tasty. I would recommend the fish and chips or the hunters chicken. Both very tasty meals. However, one thing I would say is the service can be a little slow sometimes, but I wouldn't let that put you off the experience.

I love this pub, when they have the football on, then they turn the old church benches around to form a sort of stand , happy days , except for the football results , its just a great pub that doesn't pretend to be anything else
