A proper friends pub 
Always a great atmosphere and always different. Very popular at the weekends. Plenty of parking if you aren't on the booze, but if you are a good selection of draught beers, bottled lagers and wine. It's best attribute is how sociable it is without being in your face.

Flowers, Veg and all that 
Really friendly local shop which works as a florist as well as selling local fruit and vegetables. The selection of flowers is really impressive but it's not the cheapest. Worth the extra money though if you are feeling flush or are in a pretty large dog house!

Deliver that great value
Really good take away delivery service. Very friendly and efficient, with good quality indian food for a very resonable price. If you live within 3 miles it's a good start to your Saturday night in.

Wonderful building, great food
An indian restaurant of the highest quality in building full of character. You will pay more for your food, but it's worth treating yourself. Saturday nights are always busy so make sure you book in advance. Also does take-away

Great Barber and Salon
If you want the full hair treatment for good value or want a quick tidy-up then Village Hair Care does the job. With a nice salon and good equipment to the Barber in the back room, it's friendly and welcoming.

A great pub for food 7 days a week. Sunday lunch is served all day and always busy. If you are in a large group it's best to reserve, but otherwise just turn up and enjoy. Friendly staff and as it's set on a canal near the 3 Hammers Golf Course there is also a nice outdoor decking area for summer drinks after taking the dog for a walk!
