Went to dukes Saturday just gone, tunes were good, and the nightclub is a tidy and modern venue.
Only thing that it is very young in there, most people in there were probably around the 18-21 age. I am 24 and felt a bit too old to be there! Personally as said in previous reviews by other people, i prefer Decadence as it tends to be an older crowd, although if you are very young at heart, or are around the 20 age then you will have a wicked time here!!

Dukes Genesis - Is a pretty Modern Club that has been consistant since opening all those years ago. This place has never lost numbers in the face of competition.
As you would expect from Dukes there are plenty of bars dotted around on multiple levels, which make serving times short. The interior is robust & industrial which adds to the experience & cool dancers frequent the podiums. They also have numerous themed night night & games to play to win goodies. Let hope they keep their draught beers, as new clubs that spring up only serve really expensive plastic bottles.
They play a good variety of Club Tunes from Hip Hop - Old Skool - Cheese - Dance etc... expect a mixed age group in here, but its airing more toward the Teenagers to early twenties...I suppose as you would expect, oh yeah and they play a jingle so you know where you are when you've had too many shandies.
A good solid all rounder club. Thats still enjoyable after all these years.

There are so many big clubs now across Essex that have been around for ages, but this one still has it. It was done up about 6 years ago and looks wicked still. I suggest going through the back as there is a bar which aims for the 30year olds. Brilliant bar to go to.

Back in the day we used to call this place "the meat market" It was really good for pulling and club music.
Then it got revamped and got boring, so we went to Zeus, then Zues closed and we found ourselves too old for clubbing and didnt go out much anymore.
I do visit it sometimes (if i'm really wrecked) and find myself dancing like a idiot in the Decadence bar at the back of th club.

A big club in Chelmsford, the best thing about the club is the fact they have a jingle which they play various times throughout the night. Amazing.
Other than that pretty standard local town club fodder.
