East Oriental Restaurant & Bar

This is the first time I ever tried Thai, and I wasn't disappointed even though I was apprensive at the time. Definatly a great experience and I always look forward to going back.

Fantastic atmosphere, delicious food, lush cocktails...but the meals are only of large entree size so you may need to buy 2 if you're hungry! The prices have gone up in the last couple of years and now they may be asking a bit too much. However, its strength is the ambience and privacy so it's best when with a date.

I have always loved Thai food since I went there travelling, and the authenticity of the food is exceptional. They do all kinds of eastern influenced food, Vietnamese, cantonese so you can pick things you've never had before. I especially like the Tuesday night sample offer they do, you get a starter and main course with rice and veg for £10, it's great because it changes every week and they love to get feedback.
