THis is one of the best bakery's in North Devon Let alone Barnstple! Garaham and his wife who run it work very hard and all the staff are great and the cakes etc. are all rather delicious.. if you are on a diet do not venture in here as you will be tempted to buy loads

No where else in Barnstaple sells cakes like these. They are huge. My fave is a choux pastry cake, stuffed with fresh cream and coated in coffee flavour icing. They do individual Strawberry Tarts too which are delicious. Freshly baked bread, fresh cream cakes, cookies. All fresh baked. Ask for RAY!!

They say that the smell of fresh bread can sell houses, so don't be surprised if you quite fancy putting in an offer for this shop! The smell is to die for and the bread is fantastic. Fresh homemade bread is a winner, highly recommended.

The great thing about this place is that you can see them actually baking the bread in the shop. And it tastes fantastic too! I know people who buy the bread and just eat it on its own. Some of the cakes are nice too

wonderful aromas hit you as soon as you walk by. shop is only small but has an amazing array of bread and cakes. bought bread for a soup party recently and managed to get a huge array of loaves.
