Fish Cake Heaven

4*

Alan S. says:

This is up their with the best fish and chips take aways in town.

It's not the cheapest around but the Fish cakes are great and good value for money.. They're not your usual birds eye flat cakes these bad boys are ball shaped and huge.

Yum

4*

Talia K. says:

This is generally known as one of the best fish & chips in London. It's really good but very expensive so I'm not sure how much it deserves that tag.

Eating in is almost double the price to take away. Take away cod & chips equals about £8 each, but you seriously do not need a chip portion each unless you are the hungriest you have ever been because the portions are huge, enough to feed 2.

Service is quick & friendly.

Very good fish and chips

4*

Mathew W. says:

It's a cabbies favourite apparently and going by the size of the ones that have driven me they like their food and probably know what's what. Also I heard on XFM, back when it was still just about good, that it's a recomendation of Lauren Laverne as well (who is slim, but I wager still likes her food and is a good judge of quality).

The staff are always friendly, and pickled gherkins are sweet, but sometimes the chips aren't quite 100%. Maybe they leave them sitting a bit to long, or change the fat to often (old fat makes better chips doesn't it?).
