Having read the above reviews, i took my wife out for dinner on her birthday last night at this place, Well all i can say is that im truly disapointed with the service, the chef had gone sick, no waitress, a 45 minute for our food, my wife and sister in law ordered the pizza's which needed cutting with my steak knife, added to which a typical group of english snobby stuck up little 20 somethings decided to pass comment about my wife using a knife, and that she should of ate it with her hands , well as i recall i paid for the meal not them, the seating arrangements were cramped and everybody were on top of each other. I even attempted to order desert and was told they had run out of vertually their small range of desert offerings, Back in the U.S i am used to decent service , better ergonomics , and certainly nicer folk who come to eat out not pass comments on others choice of dining, And certainly a wider and better choice of menu, if it was made to recreate a typical french cafe / restraunte , then im sure it was very close , because last time we were in paris , bad service and rude people were top of the list .
Everyone has their own opinions and ideas where to eat out , but im thinking pizza hut would have been a better option.

One of the best kept secrets in Clapham. On Ferndale road this homely restaurant is perfect for a well priced mid week meal. Well decorated but small (the miirros make it look bigger than it is) with about 8 tables in all, its selling point - apart from the very decently priced food (Two pizzas will set you back about £12) is the homely atmosphere. No Corporate staff here, its a genine local eaterie owned and run by two french blokes. You can take the pizza's away if needed and never have to wait longer than 15 minutes for that. The menu is a bit limited and doesn't change but they do a range of specials for variety. This is what's it's about though. You know that you're not going to go wrong here. In the summer you can eat outside although it is a bit of a squash and we not sure that man in the flat next door is that convinced. See for yourself...
