Seriously, soemone needs to have a word here. The 70's have gone. I can't say the room I stayed in wasn't clean. Even the bar was ok, good real ales, but everything was just so dated. It surely survives because it's next to the train station

we had a work do that needed me to stay in exeter one night. The great western was available and cheap, i now know why it was cheap! The room was like one of the rooms in the series rising damp, the breakfast had literal fat dripping from the uncooked bacon and the owner looked like he`d seen better days! Not for me again im afraid!

tell a lie the restaurant was very nice indeed and I really enjoyed the breakfast I had in the morning.
the room was liek something out of a time wrap. We were to sleep on strange little single beds which wer every uncomfortable indeed. the bedding looked like it had seen better days. the rooms were clean but very dated. the furniture was starting to fall apart in some places.
The walls were so thin i could hear my friend going to the loo in the next room. It wasn't very comfortable at all, and had a funny smell about the place.
