this is a typical pub but has an extensive but suitable british menu. It accomodates every appetite and everyone who has been with me (fussy or not) has been happy with their meal. it is reasonably priced with a discount for eating between 6 and 7 mon to fri. A lovely patio area and a grassed area with tables, ideal for taking the kids now the summers here. great for ladies that do lunch too.

This pub is a favourite for lunch breaks to people working in the surrounding area. The reason being it's reasonably priced with lots of variety on the menu. The service is also very prompt and i have recently discovered a lovely beer garden at the back of the pub! In the evening this pub turns into quite a locals joint but if your looking for some good pub grub at lunchtime, it's perfect!
