I do enjoy Ha Ha bar for a catch up with friends over a nice drink. The bar offers a relaxed and informal yet stylish setting and it is situated just by the Royal Pavilion Gardens in a lovely cobbled square. I would perhaps avoid it on a friday or saturday night though if you are wanting a more relaxed vibe.

This place is perfect to go to for a few drinks before heading to a club. It is always busy so a great atmosphere - although the bar area can get quite cramped. Perfect in summer as quite a lot of seating outside

I have had many a great night in Haha's all over the country, U know what your getting and the clientel is usually the same all over. This bar suits me down to the ground. But if you want to catch up and chat to friends avoid Fri and Sat nights as they're a little noisy!

Ha Ha's are pretty good pubs in general, but this is the best of the bunch. It's in a fab location just near the Pavilion right the centre of the city. It's big, without compromising on atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and the food is very good. The only thing is it gets dead busy on a Friday and Saturday night with a lot of DFLs (down from Londons)

I really do love this place...yes it's a chain but what difference does that make? It's got a decent sized bar at the front that gets nice and busy with the out-and-about crowd at weekends but what I really go there for is the top quality food at extremely decent prices.
It suits whether there's just the two of you or a really big crowd...I've had my birthday meal there a couple of times and they can easily fit 20 or so people round one of their huge tables. They let us decorate with balloons and streamers too...nice.
I love their veggie pasta dishes...oh and the home-made nachos with buckets of guacamole and salsa are the stuff that dreams are made of. I've always found the staff excellent too...dead friendly and relaxed yet very efficient. Do give it a try. Do.

Ha! Ha! Bar and Canteen presents diners with tasty fare in informal and comfortable surroundings. Their food is prepared using high quality, seasonal produce with a focus on sourcing British ingredients.... and it's YUMMY!
Good points: One of the best Ha Ha's... real great Brightonia atmosphere.
Bad Points: can get busy in the evenings, and rather loud!

There aren't many places to eat in Brighton and Hove which have scored 5 stars in the "Scores on the Doors" food hygiene award scheme. However this place has. The food's always really tasty - go for the Fish Finger Sandwiches every time! A great spot for lunch after a busy afternoon's shopping at the weekend. My only gripe: Take a very warm jumper in winter, it gets really cold in there - to the point their beer taps freeze over. The temperature's been fine since about March though so you should be fine in the summer!

If you're idea of a great night out is having chav dance pounding out the speaker and the punters in the pub saying something like "Alright mate, can you crash us a fag" then I wouldn't read any further!!!
However if you find yourself after a more quiet, relaxing night out where you can hear what you're friends are saying - then HaHa is ideal.
The drinks are a bit pricey but if you can look past that you'll find a relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and comfy sofas to sit on.
