this is such a great store... they've just opened one in brighton, but this one on the tottenham court road is better! it's stacked with contemporary and more traditional ideas for your home from dining tables to surreal furniture bits - which you try and work out what they for. Worth a trip for some great inspiration.....

Heals is great, especially if you have a man in tow who doesnt want to be dragged around everywhere, they do great mens clothes and womens consessions and the shoe selection here is great. Plus the homeware section is just amazing.

Sofas to saucepans, curtains to chocolate - Heal's has a nice range of products perfect for home or personal indulgence.

This famous department store is the perfect place to buy birthday and Christmas gifts and excellent, if somewhat pricey, location for interior inspiration.

In the heart of Tottenham Court Road's home decor hub of shops, with Habitat, Cargo and The Pier all nearby.

Heal's is a really nice department store and there are a few stores around central london. They are all pretty much the same size selling the same stock. The range of items is good but the problem I find with heals is the price, which I think is over inflated even for London, so if you can find someone else that stocks what you want - go there. Nevertheless, it's a good place to get ideas from for home furnishings and fittings.
