Heathcoates Fabric Shops

It does what it says in the name.. supplies fabric and bloomin lots of it in all colours styles and designs. The staff in here are great and even though it is round the corner, so to speak and a little hard to find, it's worth perservering if you need this sort of stuff

Being a guy i dont make dresses etc but my partner does, this fabric shop is just full of all the fabrics etc you could ever want! They have the accessories to which make it the ideal one stop shop. The only thing is they wont make up curtains etc, in my case merlin fabrics did that for me even with fabric from here, the dress making advice that Nik got from the lady who owns the shop was invaluable too!

I have a friend that was desperate to have a go at dress making. We went in here to get some fabric. The prices are so good that we were able to get more than we thought we would to compensate for mistakes. The staff were great and offered lots of advice.

A little tucked away but well worth finding. It seriously is the best fabric shop I have been in. I used this shop when i moved house and saved an absolute fortune on my curtains, plus they had everthing i was looking for. Staff are also very helpful too. Only down side was that they couldnt actually make up the curtains for me, but they gave ame contact details of someone who could. FAB

this place is an absolute must if you amke your own curtains or clothes. everything is directly form the adjoining factory. prices are amazing. they have got their only little car park which is handy. I went in with some measurements for my window, and the lady ther helped me out and worked out how much material I would need. excellent service
