Great Pasta

5*

James M. says:

I often visit The Furnace on Rufus Street when I'm in London. I have tried the pizzas on many occassions but I can now also recommend the pasta specials.

Good service in a friendly relaxed style with a decent wine list.

I'll definitely remain a loyal customer.

Great

4*

Talia K. says:

The pizzas here are really great. Probably the best in the area.

They're cooked in a stone fire, so you get that great crispy base that lots of other people can't do that well. The toppings are always piled on and taste fresh.

A more exciting option than Pizza Express for another night.

Just... one... more... bite...

4*

Gemma R. says:

I always find myself over-eating when I go to the Hoxton Furnace, because the food is just so damn good. The pleasantly buzzy atmosphere probably has something to do with it as well. I'd highly recommend that you go and try the pizza topped with suckling pig and fennel. Your tastebuds will love you forevermore. Desserts are spot-on as well. Not the sort of place to go if you're on a calorie-controlled diet, or have gluttony issues.

The best option for pizza in Hoxton!

4*

Lorraine L. says:

Yum! I love the pizzas here. Really tasty, nice and thin, and really fresh ingredients. The price is reasonable too. I suppose it's a similar pricing structure to somewhere like Pizza Express. There's enough tables in here to not have to book on a weeknight. They also do takeaway.

A good Hoxton option

4*

Kyra K. says:

I just went for a business-y work lunch here and it was really pleasant. I couldn't fault anything- the building and the space itself was very cool, the staff were friendly and helpful, didn't rush us at all, and the food was top-notch.

I had a lovely warm artichoke salad and and the pizzas were all handmade and cooked in a proper wood-fired pizza oven. Their daily pasta and fish specials looked pretty good, too. It's the kind of place that I can imagine will be really cosy in the winter. Not just from the open fire, but from the nice service.

I'll be going back.
