Ilfracombe Swimming Pool

I used to come here as a child so this must have been open for years! the place could relly do with a refit there is a nice palce that you can sit to warch the swimming if you don't want to go in yourself overall not bad

one of the original large pools which means that its seen better days! The local authority like most are very skint so the pool so needs some attention and the changing rooms really are looking very tired! Ive used the pool a couple of times and have to say its nice to have a swim but not nice when it could be cleaner

Did you know that this is one of the original 33.3m long pools??? great in its hey day but now looking tired. Parwood need to spend some money on it, though it serves a great purpose In Ilfracombe for teaching swimming, with some really good teachers ( espicially Mrs Hedger. ) Ilfracombe swimming club train out of here and are worth looking at if you want to race at a higher level.

The pool could do with a bit of a touch up and the changing rooms too! But this is always busy, and if Ilfracombe didn't have it they would have to travel for miles to have a swim. Staff are good all year round with all their customers. Good on them

During term time you have to share the pool with all the schools in Ilfracombe, so its pretty much busy during the days all the time ... The facilities are basic, but it serves the community and the staff are always friendly. Evenings are the best time to catch the place at a quiet moment. In the Summer is popular with visitors.
