I'd given up on a really good restaurant opening up in this location - many had come and gone, never getting it right. My father actually forced me to go in when Indian Rasoi opened, and now he revels in the story whenever we go out for family meals there. It really is the best Indian restaurant in London. Try to go outside busy times as it can get quite hectic. I'm so pleased that they're doing so well as it's a hard location to work with. It's definitely worth the walk from the tube!

Definitely the best indian restaurant in London. Presentation is unbeatable and prepares you for the tastiest of dishes with herbs and spices making the meat , fish , shellfish and vegetables absolutely delicious. Specials , when available , have included rabbit , quail , venison and scallops a delight totally unexpected and so much more tasty for being such a delicious surprise. Run by Ali and Mustapha who know how to charm their customers and run a tight ship with delightfully friendly staff who know how to take care of their customers. Thank you for many delightful meals.

Tried this place by mistake, its slightly off the beaten track. The food was fantastic, a great smaller menu than normal and lots more effort put into those fewer dishes. I was very impressed. Tasted fresh and could taste all the flavours. Very good. Ive been back twice since and its always as good. Its also getting busier, it is getting harder to book a table. worth the try though

My fiancee and I stumbled across this place yesterday on our anniversary and popped our head inside to discover a new and stylish looking restaurant which encouraged us to eat there later after going to see Mongol at the Phoenix Cinema. When we went back we were pleased to see that it was busy (a sunday too) as this is usually a good sign... Once we had ordered all ..well all I can say is that we were blown away by the food and must say it was simply amazing, and we put this alongside our experience of having eaten at 'Benares' which is Atul Kochhar's 3 Star restaurant...For staters we had onion bargees always a classic and they were the best we've ever eaten, being really fresh seasoned with herbs and spices and that had a lovely light and pleasant after taste that was most satisfying. For our mains we both had a chicken dish each and again we were amazed by the perfect balance of flavours and freshness....simply a stunning meal...and we thoroughly recommend it to anyone that loves indian food but also is looking for quality at an affordable price. They also have a wine list that caters specifically for indian cusine which was a nice touch too. We will definitely be going back again and to be honest we can't wait. Excellent.
