as with all wetherspoons this has great food and good service. not huge inside but plenty of seats as long as you get in early in going on a weekend.staff are friendly always on hand-toilets are clean and always smell really nice!! the only down side and i think it is like this with most places now it that you have have walk through a wall of smokers outside to get in!!

This is a wetherspoons pub so boasts the usual great prices, a round in there for four people gives you change of a tenner - it's awesome! It is very quiet though - no music playing and no juke box unfortunately. The location is a way off the sea front though, so Isaac Merritt attracts more local people than tourists, which is a nice change. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Definitely worth a look if you're after a great value pint.
