Where are my Pringles?

4*

Dan T. says:

Great place to drink, haven't eaten here but the location is great and it never takes too long to get served either. That said, last weekend their Pringles vending machine swallowed a pound of mine and gave me nothing in return. So they owe me a quid.

Vodka Bar

4*

Peter P. says:

Issacs formerly The Vodka Bar (Which I never got to go to but wish I had of done) is a great little place in Ipswich Marina, a pretty airey split level Bar with good drink variety and atmosphere.

The decour is warm and Bar like with the odd barrell here and there. The Staff are also very friendly too. Great place for all year round but excels in the summer, be warned this can get extremely busy.

Best location in Town

4*

Alan C. says:

Isaacs (formerly Cobbolds of the Quay) is a real asset to drinking venues in Ipswich. Beautifully set of the quayside, it offers a great view and cars pass few and far between, so you don't get that traffic smell. Service is prompt and the bar offers a large selection of standard drinks as well as exotic shots and cocktails. For the summer, there is no other place like it.

Continental Drinks

4*

Owen M. says:

If you want to escape the british way of drinking, you can find a continental watering hole on the docks

This is recomended in the summer, get a cool drink, sit outside and enjoy the clean air and funny looking boat people

Definately worth it

Great for a sunny day

4*

Holly F. says:

This bar feels like it could be in a trendy European city. If you go, you have to choose a warm day and sit outside, watching the boats on the river. And what's great is, the prices aren't unreasonable either. This is always where I bring people when they come to visit Ipswich.

Perfect Bar

5*

Laura P. says:

A 'REAL' bar on the quayside, selling real pub drinks, no pretentious fuss. The food is ok and the staff where happy and helpfull. Its got a perfect location right by the marina and is only gonna get better as the marina is developed. Bring on the summer, sitting outside drinking in this place will be fab.

Drinks by the river

4*

Nicki D. says:

Nicest place to drink in Ipswich. Isaac's has a perfect mix of indoors and outdoors. It has a huge beer garden undercover and also street side tables so you can 'people watch' on a lazy afternoon. They sell plenty of Magners and great food too!

By the quayside

4*

Alicia W. says:

I am a regular at this bar and know the owners and the majority of the bar staff so you probably think I am being bias but this is a good bar. It sits on the waterfront and sitting outside in the summer (or under heaters in the winter) looking out at the marina and all the boats is lovely. There are not many spots here where you can do that, in fact I think it is the only one. The staff are friendly and the food is good too. Live tv is provided too for all those footie and rugby fans.
